Sheds R Us

Nice little venue with a nice pool. The superior rooms have their own pool. We were in a double room. I would actually have rated this 3* as our room was actually a shed. The shed in the heat over the years had deteriorated and had lots of gaps so mosquitos could get in and indeed they did. We also had nighttime visitors either a rodent or a lizard in the room. There are mosquito nets over the beds …The bathroom was outside and very nice but there was NO hot water for 4 nights despite telling the staff. The sink was blocked and drained very slowly and the sliding door got stuck, overall not great. However it’s a 5 min walk to the beach and they did a massive bag of laundry for £5 . When I left I got the ferry to mainland Bali - the Villas text to say I had left my wallet (£120 cash 3 credit cards and driving licence) together with 3 passports in the safe…….by then I was across the water a ferry ride away. The staff arranged for my wallet and passports to be taken on the next ferry and were all delivered free with nothing missing hence 5* for honesty - amazing. So overall rough & ready unless you go for a superior room not a shed. Very helpful friendly staff.
