The first time cavain staycation at the BlueSky hotel is very good butter, the service is very good, but if we need something, the menu is also very good.️

Stay at 'new' blue sky

Great place, warm hospitality, great gym. Too bad the sauna been fixed & laundry marking at the top of the clothes so the mark too visible.

Disappointing stay in an otherwise nice hotel!

We had high expectations! Good hotel reviews, and quite expensive to be Balikpapan. We had booked an apartment, so that both adults and children could have their own bed. What a disappointment! Tired room is the preamble. Nothing has been done in decades. There were noises of things that didn't work, and the furniture was tired. Bed linen was stained, furniture was stained, but we accepted it. Multiple sockets did not work. But it peaked when the air conditioning in the master bedroom did not work, it turned off after 30-60 minutes each time. In the middle of the night, after several awakenings at 28 degrees, we had to run into the children’s rooms, where everyone slept quite moderate in shared beds. Then we could just as well book a smaller room, cheaper, and the kids could stay for free!
Besides this, the hotel was nice! Lovely staff, and nice dinner in the sushi restaurant. Nice pool area, and very good breakfast. Little minus that there was no kiosk or kind of grocery open nearby after 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday.
Luckily we got transport to the airport as a patch for the wound, but- the very stay was a disappointment! Unfortunately!
