We will be back

This is a timeshare resort with all the facilities. Daily house keeping was provided. We where very pleased with our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The pool was clean and warm with a bar and restaurant. The resort is on the beach with a pathway for walking. Lots of good restaurants out the front of the resort. If you want some where different for the day there is a free shuttle that will take you to Penninsular Bay. We are returning again.

Very nice staff

The staff here are very nice and always smile and greet you. The rooms here are very big and spacious. They all have a kitchenette area that is nice to eat meals inside your room. Be aware that toiletries are not provided here. The pool is kept clean and food is available poolside.

good hotel

don't want to put a negative review because this is a nice resort but the $8 us a day per person for amenities is overpriced and leaves a bad taste in your mouth before you start your stay with them food and drinks like most hotels very dear and then the ++ on top the staff seem happy but feel like there to scared to make an error or management would come down on them I know of these thing because I have spent many years in the hospitality industry

selling time share

my daughter and I were about to shop at the Discovery Plaza Kuta when we were approached by a man by the name of Rhino who gave us a brochure which contained an entry into a competition, when I tore open the brochure he advised I was a winner but I must accompany him to the Peninsular Hotel to claim the prize. My daughter and I went with him to the Peninsular Hotel and he advised we would receive a guided tour of the hotel and also a free lunch and the prize. I was very suspicious of this but went along for the ride. When we got to the hotel he handed us over to the reception staff who provided us with a drink and left us waiting for someone to give us a guided tour after about 90 minutes no one was available to help us so they offered us the prize and a taxi trip back to the Discovery Plaza. The prize was vouchers up to the value of $500 for discounts on tourist attractions around Bali, totally useless to us. The 2 hours taken to get to the hotel and waiting around we will never get back. We are not impressed and will probably never stay at this hotel just for this fact. It looked nice but I would not go back. We found out from another couple who had also been conned that it was timeshare and when they opened up their prize it was also $500 vouchers. So don't be fooled by this scam.

Peninsula Beach Resort A Winner

My 6th visit to Bali from Sydney but my sister from Scotland's first and the hotel did not disappoint. I usually stay at the Novotel so I was a bit wary even on arrival but soon relaxed when I saw how much space we had in our 2-bedroom apartment and how clean everything was. The two bathrooms was a plus. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is traditional and has a pub with karaoke and trivia and a nice pool area. The restaurant the name of which I've forgotten was rather flash and the food was amazing!! That was a nice surprise. We opted for breakfast as an inclusion for the first few days and it was good if a little limited. The only issue was our air-conditioning which wouldn't adjust and I think became a bigger issue with maintenance people doing something in the roof so it didn't actually get fixed.

Very good location
