Welcome relief after a bad experience with original booking
They managed to fit us in the 2 bedroomed villa for 1 night and it was perfect. Very clean, lovely private pool in a great location, a few minutes walk from the beach, ideal with young children.
We would have stayed longer but unfortunately they had a reservation for the rest of the week (we found another hotel for the rest of our stay at lovina)
If I came to lovina bay again, I would definitely look at staying here again.

We would definitely stay here again
Kartika Villas are located at Jalan Kartika, a nice and quiet little road in Lovina.
The beach, shops, restaurants and the town center are all within walking distance.
However, we rented a couple of scooters from the staff and we loved it!
The staff were very attentive. Ask and they will provide. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis.
We loved our private villa.
It is a semi detached building with a lovely little pool.
The pool terrace is fairly sized and sheltered. There are two big ceiling fans that gave us a much welcomed breeze.
Inside the villa has two spacious airconditioned bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The bigger one has sliding doors that open to the pool terrace.
The living/kitchen area is also rather spacious and very well equipped. There are two large ceiling fans.
There is a large sofa in front of the (modern) TV and the kitchen area is equipped with a dining table, a large countertop, plentiful cabinets, a (gas) cooker, a big fridge and all required peripherals.
We especially liked the water dispenser; it serves water (very) hot, cold and at room temperature!
The less good:
The LED ceiling spots really need replacing. Some are broken and many are tired.
(Also we would have liked an additional, warmer light in the living room)
Inside, some parts of the walls could use a fresh layer of paint.
Also the kitchen cabinet doors and drawers could use some readjusting / refurbishing.
Thanks to all the good stuff these issues were surmountable, but they could and !should! have been easily fixed.
