Great stay as a couple

We had an amazing stay with a staff always listening and very accommodating, we were able to rent scooter on site. We slept great without any noise around except the geckos.
Breakfast very good
Villa clean and very beautiful

THINK TWICE!!!

The first thing you need to know, is that this place is very out of the way, with one road in and one road out. We did read after, that most drivers don't like to go down this road because it seems very unsafe. It's a two-way road that on first glance doesn't seem to fit a normal car through, with a terrifying straight down long slope that almost feels like you're driving off a cliff. I read in some reviews that they offered a shuttle into town but when we got there, we found that this was no longer the case. When you arrive there, it is a confusing situation as the signage doesn't stand out, and it is very hidden, so you have to go trekking around to work it out for yourself. Once we found someone, they were very accommodating to take us to our villa. The villa is just as beautiful as it looks in all the photos however, we chose this place because it's big selling point was that it was away from the hustle and bustle, and that it was a tranquil and peaceful paradise, only to discover they were renovating the villa right next to us, with grinding and banging of hammers all day long. After we settled, we then discovered our water didn't work anywhere in the villa, so we had to call them back to rectify the problem. It was after about 30 mins that they fixed it. Then we discovered our air conditioner only blew hot air. We called them back and was told that a technician wasn't available to come and look at it until the following day, so we just sat in our pool and listened to the construction work of next door all afternoon. We decided on ordering food in, as we were worried about trying to get someone to take us and bring us back at night from a restaurant, so we ordered from their room service menu. We ordered two meals, but they only sent one. After realizing their mistake, they sent another meal about 20mins later. We ordered the vegetarian stir fry's and they sent us chicken. We didn't complain because we do eat meat, although we didn't feel like it that night, but we ate it anyway and it ended up being in a tasteless in a broth of water. We tried to watch the TV, but it wouldn't connect to anything, so we watched a movie on my tablet. We decided the next day to give the place a clean slate, so we asked them to order us a taxi to go to the main part of Ubud. After walking in the sun for many hours, just sightseeing, we decided to catch a taxi back to our room for a swim, and yet again our driver after seeing the road was very hesitant to take us in. We returned to our room to find strange men in our villa pulling our deck apart with pieces of timber everywhere! We were told politely that they weren't expecting us back so soon, so they decided to do some renovation to our deck while we were gone. After it was clear they had no intention of leaving (even with us there), after walking into my hot, unairconditioned bedroom, it was at this point that I lost my temper. We were hot, bothered and wanted to swim in our pool but were unable to, because of the situation. It was then I got very angry and told the young lady that worked there, that we had travelled here from Australia to have a quiet holiday, so they all left quickly but leaving gaps in the surrounding deck. It was at this point I told my partner that I wanted to leave, and he agreed. We had paid for four full days and left after only one night. Not only was there no offer of any kind of refund, but they sent a boy to our villa to collect payment for our dinner from the night before and our breakfast from that morning! I am literally gob smacked! No one came to us to apologize or to rectify our situation in any way. We saw the owner there on site, but he never approached us. This place may look picture perfect, and obviously many people have left wonderful reviews, but this was our experience, and we would never recommend this place to anyone in a million years. There are plenty of beautiful places to stay in Ubud that are closer to the main part of town with many less hurdles to overcome. No generic apology from them now will bring back our holiday. If you want a beautiful peaceful, stress-free stay in Ubud, this isn't the place to choose.

A little piece of heaven!

The place is literally a small paradise with total privacy.
Before we came we saw pictures but in person it is really even more beautiful.
The combination of the environment, the pool and the architecture guarantee a relaxing and fulfilling experience.
It's the best choice for a couple.
The staff was very helpful and polite.
Next time we come we will stay for even longer!

Not as nice as planed !

Be careful… this villa is not 200 square meter … it is 30 square meters on a land that is 200 square meters …
The swimming pool is nice … the house is ok but extremely remote from all the rest of Ubud.
No way to get lunch or diner here!
And the staff is really not as nice as in other places.
They will not make any effort to help you … they have strict rules to follow from the owner and they follow them.
At night neighbors burned a lot of plastic and the smoke was in the villa nearly all night …
Not our best night in Bali!

Booking Cancelled without Notice

Honeymoon occasion booking was cancelled without notice because owner of the hotel tried to deduct the payment from the credit card before the due date so he got the decline. After speaking with him he had a double booking for the same villa so he couldn't provide the reservation again.
Very disappointing especially on a special occasion !!!!!!!!!!!!
