INSPIRING STAY! SO CHILL
Had the absolute privilege of landing at The Craft Hotel on their very first day of opening, and what a way to arrive. From the moment I stepped in, I felt it: that serene Japandi calm blended with soulful, crafty, art-driven details. The interiors are effortlessly cool & minimalist but warm, refined yet creative. Every corner feels intentional.
What truly elevates this place is the people. Every single person I encountered was smiling, kind, and genuinely present. The energy here is soft, welcoming, and inspiring. Home feeling.
I loved everything, the breakfast (fresh,nicely presented, and generous), the main pool (peaceful and aesthetic), and especially the private pool in my room. Waking up and stepping straight into my own little oasis felt surreal. The turndown service adds that extra touch of care, and the WhatsApp service is genius, you can reach the team at any moment, and they respond immediately.
A special thank you to Cok Intan, Putra, Wahyu, Adi, Gek Shinta and the rest of the team. It feels like a little family there!
When I needed a doctor for my ears, they arranged everything, and the doctor was at my room in less than 30 minutes. That level of attentiveness and efficiency is rare. It was a stay I’ll never forget and would absolutely return to. A hidden gem in Ubud, close to centre, ATM’s, super market and a gym. Perfect location really!
This hotel doesn’t just offer a stay; it creates a feeling. I feel inspired here. Calm. Held.
I honestly cannot stress enough how much I recommend this place. The price-quality ratio is simply insane for what you receive. If you’re looking for design, serenity, heartfelt service, and an experience that feels both luxurious and soulful. this is it.

Definitely recommend, the place is a great location, relaxing and quiet but close to so many great shops. The staff are incredible the restaurants food and stuff are impeccable and really a great vibe overall. Would come back again.

HOTEL WITH A BIOHAZARD
There is substantial construction work going on next to the hotel during my stay. The first room I was put in was on the ground floor and faces the construction site directly. The dust and pollutants came through the door and made me nauseous and extremely uncomfortable.
I was then moved into a room on the highest floor, but it still faces the construction site. I can still smell the dust and pollutants and some burnt waste from time to time, not to mention the noise and impact (no joke) from the site. The hotel says the construction stops at 6pm but I heard gravel being dumped as late as 10pm.
The room is not sound proof and both of my rooms are overrun with ants. The room service was absolutely nasty.
Staying at this hotel poses a huge health risk and ruined my holiday. The hotel should have some decency by informing their guests before they book and offer a huge discount. Disgraceful.

Lovely hotel.
Splendid boutique hotel about a 20minutes walk from the centre of Ubud. Very friendly staff. Large rooms. Great breakfast included. New building going up next door but this did not disturb us.
