Beautyful sea view

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel on the Rock. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the sea view was beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious, and 1 loved relaxing by the
pool.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, hospitality, and a lovely environment. I'Il definitely be back!

Great hotel, difficult night's sleep

Simple but neat rooms in a beautifully built building. One side has a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast is an Indonesian buffet; nice helpful staff. Unfortunately, what a hotel is for, i.e., night rest, is not offered. There is no one there because of loud music (as if it's playing in your own room) from the boulevard that goes on late; on the other side there is traffic noise.

Cozy Room and Ideal Place for Seascape Photography

My main reason for choosing this hotel was its location by the beach, and I didn't regret it. It was a very short walk to the beach. I aimed to shoot sunrise and/or sunset. It turned out that I could get a better view of the sunset from upstairs inside the hotel. For me, that was priceless.
At the time of my visit, the rooftop seemed deserted. However, I was surprised when I braved myself to climb the stairs up there and found out that I could also shoot a sunrise from there.
The room was spacious, the bed was cozy, and the bathroom was clean. The air conditioner was working well.
My room was cleaned nicely every day, but the complimentary coffee was never refilled. Each day, I had to call the housekeeping department, then have someone bring the coffee sachets to my room.
On the second floor, there is a restaurant facing the beach. Lucky for me, I opted for the city-view room instead of the beach-view room. The restaurant was very loud until very late at night.
The front desk staff was friendly. The lobby's atmosphere was cozy, with comfortable sofas.

Lovely view of the ocean and sunset! Pool looked murky, but lots of families were enjoying it. The biggest bummer was the noise almost all night on the boardwalk below… but maybe that was because it was Easter Week??

II can really not understand why this hotel is offered in the portfolio of trip.com. The category 4 stars is a big lie. This hotel should be deleted because it is not useable as a normal hotel. When trip.com offered the other hotel in the category 4 stars in the same dirty and old conditions then I must look for another company. Look at the following lictures which shows a small sample of the dirty condition of the rented deluxe room!
