My favourite Flores hotel.

I have stayed here 6 times. The staff are great , their English is not great but they try to help. If they came to Australia how many hotel staff would speak Bahasa Indonesian? The food is first rate and the kitchen staff always try to accommodate requests. At leas than $50AUD per room including a hot breakfast it is trasonably priced. If you are in Maumere go there!

Hotel management is very uncooperative

Her impression is bad.
We conduct corporate gathering activities and book all facilities of hotel rooms of 40 rooms. Day H. There was an earthquake disaster so there was an order of the BNPB to stay away from the coast due to tsunami warnings and a sequential earthquake. At 10 a.m. we filed a refund. And it's also counting days H, because the new checkin will be clocked at 12. But the response from the hotel management was very bad. They just want to reimburse 2 million of the total cost of the hotel food fund about 30 million. Very uncooperative. Considering cancellation due to disaster and not yet on day H (before check-in hours). We lost 99% for this hotel's lack of cooperation

An odd experience- terrible food

We stayed here for one night and cannot day it was a good stay.
On a positive note, the room was large, had hot water and the WiFi worked well enough to check emails. Breakfast was ok but a limited choice.
Negative points, the AC was terrible and the food in the restaurant was nearly inedible (especially the uncooked noodles). The rest was very salty.
The resort was nearly empty and for the price we would of expected a bit more. The hotel is out of town and there are no shops to buy an supplies nearby.
We would not stay again.

Please avoid

Do not stay here: no beach but concrete structure that killed the beautiful shore. No wifi and hot water in room. Bar next door played loud music that keeps you awake in the night. Staff barely speaks English. Decent but overpriced sea food with limited options. Terrible breakfast. So far away from everything.

Odd experience

The hotel is a bit out of town. There are no shops in the area. I don't understand why the prices are so high (for Indonesia) and they would not budge on the price at all even though the resort was empty. As others have said, we were the only people staying there and it felt quite strange at night walking to the restaurant. It feels like it was a busy resort 10+ years ago. It has lots of potential espeically if they lowered the price it would be busier. The pool is huge and very nice. It was fun chatting to the locals who pay to use the pool at weekends. The egg plant fritters were tasty. The staff were friendly.
