Lovely stay

I stayed at Padang Homestay one night only but I wish I stayed more :)
the atmosphere is so nice.
Bayu and Jen are so helpful and fun, their little daughter too! They really make you feel welcome and looked after. Coffee, tea and cold water were always available.
The bedroom was very nice, proper mosquito net in place and fan, good wifi connection.
Definitely recommend this accomodation! It s also only 20mins walk from the Imigrasi

Nice homestay

I stayed at Padang Homestay for one night only, but is a nice and really lowkey place. Close to immigration and a lot of good places to eat just around the corner.
Bayu was a great help for me, since I forgot my shoe there. And he help me but sending the shoe with gojek.

this used to be a "rumah kos" for students and now they accommodate tourists as well, run by a nice family with host Ayu who can assist you on anything from basic information to guided tours... just try and experience, you will not be disappointed!

Loved it!

We enjoyed two nights of relaxing at Bayu's place. We needed to plan our next stop in Sumatra and Bayu gave us heaps of information. The room was great and amenities were clean. There's plenty of restaurants nearby. Loved it!

Great place to stay!

We stayed one night at the Homestay of Jen and Bayu and felt so welcomed. The room was basic, but clean and with a fan and mosquito-net.
The Homestay is located in a good area and everything you could need is nearby.
The best thing were the conversations. Both of them share all their knowledge about Sumatra, the culture and also funny basic things like misunderstandings in communication.
Thank you for your hospitality and company! It was a great stay for us! Hope to see you again!
