Small budget but nice inn

I booked a single room and for me the bad can use by two people. The receptionist is not friendly ( he not smile or show me where is my room just give me the key, i find my room by myself and he is busy with the computer. Is ok for me maybe he busy with the booking schedule or that is the receptionist do).
there are no lift so you need extra effort if you bring much and heavy stuff.
Your room get:

• One plug socket
• mirror
(the room doesn't have ventilation or window)
In living Room we will have: plate, dining table, tv, air mineral, kitchen, spoon, fork, glass and clotheslines
The wall is so thin, you can hear noises from another guest or your next room.
The inn also have mini garden and balcony.
In the night if you go outside you can find food stalls. The inn near by Klewer market and great mosque of surakarta (take ±10 minutes by motorcycle). Beside the inn there is minimarket.

Very Comfortable for budjet stay!!

The service was good,room is nice and clean. In every room have tv, Air conditioner and working table.have colourfull design in every room and public area room. Easy to find and very2 close with the park mall. Have a group and family rooom and its cheap. Nice place to stay and very recommend!!

Simple but great

Clean, cheap, comfort bed, very cool ac,free wifi. This hotel has 2type of room,deluxe with bathroom inside (+water heater+tv cable) and standard with shared bathroom. And if you are traveling in group there are group n family room for 3-4adults, cheap price also.

Value for money, but far from main sites

I stayed here for one night. I found the staff to be friendly and obliging, the room was quite large with a tv an air con, there was no window but as I wasn't really in the room I made no difference. There's a good common/dining area too. Location is a little far away from the the main things to see/do though. Would probably stay here again.

GREAT VALUE - certain to become POPULAR !!

The staff at GRIYA SURYA SOLO are friendly+helpful-- yet speak very little English: they will get someone who does understand, tho !
The location is south of thr Batik Markets, in Solo Baru... an easy taxi ride. The PARK MALL 21, brand new, is within walking distance-- food court, Cinema, lots of shops, cafés. On the street out front, there are Warung with local food, and an AlfaMart and Indomaret are just steps away.
The rooms are cleam, the bed is very comfortable-- ranks right up there with the best of them all!! The bed has a top sheet (not always common) as well as a blanket. The provided towel is small, yet does the job OK. Each room has AC, a desk and chair, and flat-screen TV w remote--local channels only, so English programs available only in the evening. (go to common room for English channels)
There are shared toilet and shower, separated for men, women -- the sinks are on a wide hallway, shared by all. The common room is large and airy, with high ceilings, large windows, all-day coffee+tea, and free drinking water-- with HOT dispenser for ramen, soup, whatever. 'Breakfast' is bread (w*o toaster !) and chocolate sauce. The TV has Cable or Satellite, so English channels are available thru the day -- depends on who is watching (nationality).
The WiFi is available in the rooms.
Griya Surya Solo is inexpensive, offers a GREAT VALUE, and is certain to become POPULAR, once it becomes known !! I definitely recommend it for fellow budget travellers!
Currently, there are two 'Deluxe' rooms being 'developed, constructed, made available' for later Dec 2014.
I first booked for one night-- and have extended my stay : )
There is a call to prayer close-by.. and was just fine, only one mosque.
