We had a nice time at this resort. Nice cottages on the water. They also have cottages on land if you prefer.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. And they like to have a chat.
Breakfast is good. You can have your egg prepared daily the way you want it. You also get fruit and a smoothie.
When we went diving we always got a well-stocked lunch box with some fruit and a bottle of water. From 17:00 there are snacks ready with coffee and tea on the pier where you can also sit and enjoy the horizon.
Dinner at the resort is prepared by Nona with her other kitchen help. Delicious food though.
The cottages are cozy and clean. Although it is a bit outdated and needs some maintenance. But you see through that quickly because we had a good time.
If you want to go somewhere, spot island/bird trip , rent a moped , dive, snorkel (boat picks you up and back at their own pier.) etc , they will be happy to help you.
Sunrise - and sunset is very beautiful, you can keep looking at it, combined with the reflection of the huge clouds parties in the sea. Beautiful just!

9 days in Raja Ampat.
The resort is quite nice and peaceful.
The staff, although not always understanding what you say are very polite and helpful.
I stayed in one of the overwater villas for 9 nights and it was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom was outdated and has some stains.
The downside however was the food.
It's all inclusive but breakfast was limited to eggs and fruits.
Dinner was an insult to the guests. It's a buffet which comprises 4 dishes total and the same every evening. Lukewarm white rice, soaked mixed vegetables, chicken and the same overcooked dry fish.
Dinner is served from 7 to 9 PM but if you are not at the restaurant by 7.30, all the food is gone and no refills.
With a better management this place could be a little gem.

I expected something better
We stayed for ten days at this resort. The structure originally had to be very nice but today it would need a good renovation. We stayed in a bungalow in the garden, at first glance cute but not very clean and with the bathroom to be totally overhauled (briquettes and broken toilets). The day we arrived the bed had stained sheets full of hair and hair, we asked to replace them and it was done but the linen, despite being fragrant, was full of stains. Cleaning on request: after seeing how they were carried out, we chose to avoid as the same broom was passed on the bed used for the floor.
Broken pier, especially where there are side stairs to go into the water or get on boats. On one of these I took a bad fall and, when I asked for disinfectant, I was told that they did not have any.
The only really positive note was the restaurant staff, very kind and always smiling.
A very bad young guy who bothered customers, including us, asking very personal and often inappropriate questions and making constant allusions to the tip he would receive.
I am very sorry, especially for the girls in the restaurant, but I would not return to this property and, honestly, I do not even feel like recommending it.

Amazing Chill of a Place
Location Beautiful. Ideal tranquillity with amazing views made for our experience.
Staff where attentive and very personable service. Eager to satisfy and so lovely
Jordie extremely helpful and could not do enough to assist with tours and ease of stay.
Good value, comfortable and quality annexes. We stayed on the jetty and it was such a calming beautiful experience.
Food was homemade Indonesian cuisine and was excellent. More than enough with all inclusive afternoon tea. Absolute pleasure.

Resorts in Waigeo
Resort located on Waigeo Island a short distance from Waisai.
It has 2 types of rooms. in the garden and on stilts connected by jetty, equipped with air conditioning and hot water.
We stayed in a stilt house, quite spacious and with the bathroom in the room.
Discreet cleaning that is carried out only on request, very good meals that are served buffet style, depending on the number of guests, a couple of meals were served at the table being few rooms occupied.
Around 5am a snack is offered on top of the jetty
It does not hike directly, but relies on Olin Dive which is nearby and picks up directly from the property's jetty.
And 'possible to snorkel directly from the jetty, beautiful coral reef but in our opinion not up to that of other areas we have seen.
Very kind and helpful both the restaurant and reception staff, with a special note for Lisa, a real reference point.
A sore note to note is the presence of a similar structure built too close and frequented mainly by Indonesian tourists from which often in the evening, until 10 pm, loud music came that spoiled a little 'the magic of the place.
Excellent starting point for bird watching excursions in search of birds of paradise.
