Meet the Indonesians

We don’t just come to Moza House to sleep but to have an immersive experience. Fajar and his wife Iuci welcomed us and made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent , taken on the terrace of the house. Fresh fruit and local savoury and sweet specialities. There are 3 bedrooms available, one has its own bathroom, the other two share the owners bathroom more local but you get used to it. For activities, Fajar can be your guide during your stay. The first day we visited a local market, was welcomed by his beautiful family and then walked in the surrounding countryside. Attending the rice harvest, being invited to an engagement were highlights. The other days were spent visiting the Dieng Plateau: sunrise over volcanoes, volcanic springs, tea plantations. Fajar was an exceptional guide and despite the capricious weather this stay was better than in our dreams. this is the highlight of our stay in Java.

Experience Java as a local in this amazing stay!

Moza house
We had a lovely stay at the Moza house! First of all, Fajar and his wife make you feel at home immediately. The house is very clean, and had everything we needed and even a very nice outside place with a view, perfect for having breakfast! We got a local breakfast which we enjoyed very much, and if you stay multiple days you will get different kind of breakfasts each day!
Fajar showed us the village and its surroundings with the local vegetables and fruit plantages. Fajar also took us to Dieng to show us around, and even further to Nepal van Java and Borobudur and even dropped us off at our next stay in Yogya. We had so much fun having a local as Fajar with us, because this way we learned so much about Java and its religion, its culture, … He arranged that we could try out batik at the Borobudur temple complex for a good price, it was a very nice experience.
We highly recommend this stay for everyone who is interested in experiencing this part of Java as a local!

Ini sih the best ya....kami mendapat sebuah pengalaman yang tak kami dapatkan di kota..membaur dengan warga desa sekitar merayakan malam takbiran dengan petasan2 dan suasana yg sangat meriah.
Pengalaman menginap di penginapan yg sangat bersih dan keren....mas dan mbak pemilik sangat ramah.
Kami dijamu hidangan lebaran yg sangat lezat ....makasih mas dan mbak. Akan slalu terkesan dengan kalian berdua jg adek Enzo.
