Great place to stay at

This is my second time at this hotel. First visit was 6 months ago along with my dad and sister. I have arrived today and the manager Anwar remmebered me and has warming welcoming and provided me a VIP room witgout recervation early morning. Great place, very clean and has great service and management.

Great accomidation

Great service. Manager Anwar went above and beyond to make sure our stay at the hotel very pleasant.
Staff very friendly.
Place clean and reasonable. Perfect location. Close by everything.
I will definatley go back again.
They have complimantary breakfastas well. Simple.

nice hotel but beware the partyroom - it could keep you from sleeping

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times in the last seven or eight months. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there are a variety of room and suite configurations, there is a very good buffet breakfast offered every morning, staff speak English and are helpful and pleasant, internet can be good or intermittent, and I love that if you are waiting or meeting in the lobby (which is an attractive, large, well-lit area) you are offered coffee or tea. It is situated in a nice area of Arbil, with various shops and restaurants.
But if you wish to be guaranteed a good night's sleep this may not be the hotel for you. There is a partyroom at the top of the hotel, without much if any soundproofing, so the sounds from this room travel down to the rooms. The parties start at 9 or 10pm and continue into the early hours of the morning. A call to reception might get the volume turned down a bit, but there is not much they can do. This has happened three of the times I have stayed here, and the last time I was here it kept my colleague from being able to get any sleep before he caught his flight.

Nice hotel in quiet Ainkawa district

Enjoyed my stay here for two nights - both arriving and departing in the night, it was nice that the hotel was open and well lit even in the night. Friendly and English speaking staff, good internet, good restaurant options close by.
Taxis to most places are ~5000 IQD / 5$, except the Airport which seemed that all wanted 15$ from/to the checkpoint.
Only complain is that there was a bit of a smell from smoking in the room, but I probably forgot to ask for a none smoking room.
Fair price for a nice hotel.

Terrible All around

This is by far the WORST hotel I have stayed at in the whole of Iraq/Kurdistan. Rooms were filthy, hotel staff had NO idea what they were doing, they have a nice bar upstairs which I visited to get away from the room where they turned the power off half way through my drink and told me to leave. I highly advise anyone who plans to stay here to save themselves the hassle.
