Adequate B&B

Stayed the one night. Catherine our host and as a lovely lady. Our room was fine but not overly large. Bed fine but not luxurious. Good shower. Toilet takes a long time to fill after flush so a bit noisy while it does so. Breakfast fine but no frills. €35 per person mid August

Some service issues, but a fine place overall

We encountered badly working WiFi, and after our first room had a malfunctioning shower we were moved to a much smaller room, which also didn't have a great shower. The breakfast menu was very nice though, and the hotel's horse-race-themed interior and general atmosphere are pleasant.

Excellent stay

Lady guest was very hospitable, it felt like being home in Ireland even though we are from NYC. Breakfast was excellent. If you can recommend adding WIFI would be excellent. small town, quiet but worthy for one or two days stay

Mrs Singleton Kildare

Having stayed at Mrs Singletons on two occasions we could not find any fault whatsoever.She made us very welcome. The rooms are spotless with en suite and the beds were most comfortable. Breakfast was traditional Irish and freshly cooked.
Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely Lady and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Would not advise Singleton B and B

I was very disappointed in the Singleton B an B in Kildare. We were referred by the Tourist Office. Mrs Singleton actually came into our room while we were out to Dinner and closed the curtains. I do not know what else she did. The bed was like sleeping on a set of box springs. Breakfast was very basic and the house was freezing. Mrs Singleton did appear to be somewhat nice though.
