The best B&B experience you could ask for!

Our stay with Maureen was the best B&B experience we’ve ever had! Maureen was welcoming, attentive, and had many great stories of the area. The breakfast was delicious and room was spacious and had everything we needed. Maureen was helpful in whatever we needed. She really is an above and beyond host. Cannot recommend this stay enough. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Maureen, and I’m sure we will see you again in the future!

Fantastic

We were welcomed with wide arms into this home stay by a very kind host who gave us great tips for what to do in the area. The house is amazing, very spacious. The food was divine. Overall great value would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay with a gracious host

Our stay with Maureen at Springfield House was delightful in all regards. Our rooms were cosy and comfortable, our breakfasts delicious, and our time spent chatting very endearing. Maureen even helped to connect me with a probable distant cousin while serving us tea on a stormy evening. What an unforgettable stay!

Lovely Weekend Break

Stayed at Springfield House with my wife Monica and 15 year old son Jack. Maureen is a wonderful hostess providing a beautiful setting, spotlessly clean house, the breakfast was lovely and hearty. We felt privellaged to be able to stay in this wonderful home. What stood out more than anything was Maureens extremely warm nature. We enjoyed our chats. Maureen even linked us up with a relative. We certainly would recommend this house.

Home Away From Hom

Maureen is a wonderful host. We were fed to the gills with tea, cake and biscuits; not to mention the lovely breakfast. The room was spotless and nothing was too much trouble for her to help us; be it booking a taxi or sights to visit.
If we were come back to the area, Springfield would definitely be where we would stay.
