Top Class

Exceptional from start to finish! Staff were amazing, absolutely on the ball and so helpful!! The place is pretty new but wow it’s absolutely gorgeous and modern, 45 second walk to the beach! Also, the food and breaksast was delicious, really good quality. It really made our stay in Downings wonderful.

Disappointing first visit.

We booked dinner for three couples 12th August. We were looking forward to a new dining experience in Downings. One of the group ordered Thai green curry. It tasted and looked like chicken supreme. It was sent back and a starter ordered instead. Unfortunately there was no manager there to speak to. She had gone home by the time we were paying our bill which had not been altered. The young staff were not trained to deal with the query. They were very pleasant. After we had been served, no one came to check if everything was satisfactory. The steak was excellent, the fish good but vegetables on the cool side. The venison burgers ok but could have benefitted from a sauce.
We hope they can improve their service and wish them every success. This would need to be improved to make sure they have return custom.

Cant wait to go back!

We spent what was an absolutely amazing week in an exceptional hotel.
Wow, wow, wow, what a place! The apartment was incredible, every last detail has been thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed. The staff are in a league of their own. Natalie, Caroline, and Charlie, the barman, are worth their weight in gold, and every single member of the team made us feel so welcome. We wish Bayview continued and deserved success for many years to come.

The only tiny downside was that the parking area is still a work in progress, but that's completely understandable for such a new property and certainly didn't take away from our stay.

Weekend stay

What an amazing find. The place is stunning,views are breathtaking,location superb,walking distance from all amenities(bars,restaurants,shops).Apartment we stayed in 5☆,clean,modern,everything you need is there,beds very comfy,fully equipment kitchen,terrace outside spacious,lovely furniture.Absolutely top spot for relaxing getaway.Highly recommended
