Wonderful stay.

It was really nice and very clean. Close to the town and walkable for just about anyone. It was quiet and we slept very well. Our host Paul was so kind and made us feel very welcome. This being our first trip to Ireland, couldn't ask for a nicer experience.

Bathroom not very functional

Small room, well furnished but it has electrical outlets that are difficult to reach.
Small bathroom, very small sink above which there is a glass shelf that prevents you from washing your face well (in fact, you end up getting the floor wet).
There are no hangers for wet bath towels.
The shower is medium-sized and, after you figure out how to make the showerhead work, it is pleasant.

Convenient for touring

There are two next-door houses in an estate which provide rooms with en-suite which have access to a common kitchen dining room. The house is modern and the kitchen has kettle, oven with hobs, toaster and fridge. Would be nice to have a microwave / air fryer. The bedroom is cosy with a TV. There is good parking round the house. There is a Lidl just ip the road if you want to buy food to eat. The owners have a restaurant in town, The Harbour, Quay Street, where they offer 10% discount.
Access is by a key in a keybox ... details sent to you on phoning the owner.....
Bit cheeky to show the castle as the picture ... not a true representation.

Lovely modern rooms, great hosts

We stayed in house two in a lovely modern room, bathroom was brand new, shower had great pressure. Hosts were great to deal with and very flexible with requests. Plenty of parking, kitchen and lounge available, would definitely recommend

Great place to stay in Donegal

The guesthouse has very nice rooms. Our bed was comfortable, and we had a good shower with plenty of hot water. There's a room downstairs with tables, so you don't have to eat breakfast in your room. Paul was helpful. The guesthouse is only about a 15-minute walk from town centre, on a quiet street. Highly recommend.
