Hotel was good although getting tired. Room was large and adequate and house keeping excellent. Went for a drink in the bar but the ambience was far from welcoming especially with the very strong cleaning smell. No evening restaurant is far from good. Location was good and staff very helpful and friendly.

It’s just okay.

The Boyne Valley is in a beautiful and handy location for travellers to drogheda or like ourselves we stopped here before going on to Dublin.
The hotel staff were welcoming upon our arrival. I was aware the restaurant was undergoing renovations prior to booking, and the reception gave us a handy list of local restaurants and take aways should we require it.
The room was clean and tidy, the beds were fine however sleep was very difficult due to the heat in the room. When the door was opened and I walked down the hall there was a considerable difference in the temperature. I will say we travelled in the summer and the outside temperature was low 20s. Staff provided us with fans but it was a long and uncomfortable night.
Breakfast the following morning was grand and staff were polite and helpful. Although they had the breakfast room packed up before we were finished and it just felt like we were being rushed out the door.

One night stay

I spent 1 night here, very comfortable, staff friendly. Breakfast very good. I had an evening meal here which was very good. All in all a good stop for a night.

Great sound-proofing with the anteroom. Ideal room layout. Good breakfast.

Place was amazing but will say our room was hot. When we was there was record highs (80s) room did not cool down until 3-4 am. No ice was available (maybe a thing there not sure) overall was great
