Great location with all the comforts of home
This beautiful B&B is the perfect location for a stay in Donegal Town. Located on a hilly street just around the corner from the Diamond in the center of town, you are steps away from shops, restaurants and Donegal Bay. The B&B offers free parking, a plus since you'll be within walking distance of all the main sights (Donegal Castle, the ruins of Donegal Abbey, etc.) The property is modern, with all the amenities you'll need, including a lovely living room and breakfast rooms on the first floor (along with 1 guest room - the others are a walk upstairs). The beds are comfortable and the rooms quiet, each with an ensuite. Hosts Geraldine and Mike are gracious and helpful. A lovely breakfast buffet is set up, with the additional offer for cooked to order options. All in all, a really lovely stay.

Wonderful Stay with a Warm Welcome and Excellent Breakfast
We had a fantastic stay at Ros Dun House in Donegal. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The entire place was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was excellent — fresh, plentiful, and beautifully presented.
Our bed was very comfortable, and while the bathroom was quite small, it was spotless and worked perfectly for our needs. We also loved that the windows opened for fresh air, and the room included a walk-in closet that was an absolute dream — it made storing our luggage so easy and kept the room feeling spacious and tidy.
Overall, this was a 4+ star experience — cozy, comfortable, and run with genuine care. We’d happily stay again!

Amazing stay!
Ros Dun is a truly excellent guest house, with wonderful hosts Geraldine and Michael. They are warm and welcoming, with excellent knowledge of the town and surrounding areas. It situated only a very short walk from the town and has the added bonus of free parking. Our room was clean and comfortable with a super cosy bed. Breakfast was a continental selection, with the option of freshly cooked eggs or porridge as a hot option. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried. We will definitely return next time we are in the area!

Fabulous BnB
Amazing family (historical) home that is only mins from the Town Center, Donegal Castle, the Bank Walk and all the major attractions of this beautiful town. Michael is a fabulous host (grew up in the 6 bedroom home) and continues his parents dream of running a wonderful BnB. As an O'Donnell from Calgary Canada who traveled to Donegal Town to rediscover her family roots, this BnB is highly recommended for location, charm, service and everything a traveler is looking for when visiting a new place.

Five Star Rating
Prior to our arrival we received an email confirming the secure check in details, allocating us room 6, which overlooks the road and River. The bathroom is well equiped and has a fabulous walk in wardrobe. There is a parking bay for residents, just opposite the property. The property was clean, throughout, and well maintained. Tea/Coffee making facilities are available in the kitchen and guest can make use of the lounge and garden. More important is Breakfast.: with various cereals along with fresh fruits and yoghurt, toast, cold meats etc. Porridge and eggs are available on request and freshly prepared. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town which is just a five minute walk from the property. Can't complain about our stay, thank you Ros Dun for making us very welcome.
