The only « negative » thing I would say is the towel, it would be appreciated if it was included as well or with deposit!
Location wise is okay, 20 to 25 minutes walk to temple bar area!

Bed Bugs!
Upon arrival, the place has a warm feel to it with friendly, approachable reception staff.
The location is slightly out of centre (approx 20 mins walk) but is suitable for tourists and stag/hen dos.
Unfortunately, our trip was ruined as the dorm was infested with bed bugs in two separate areas. When this was first raised the staff were openly remorseful and apologetic offering to move 3 of 8 guests to a private room. The following day, bed bugs were also found in another of the beds in the same dorm to which management replied “we can’t see any” and “maybe they are brought in by the new guests” and they offered to clean the room… Upon returning an hour later, the bedding had been changed but guests remained in the room. All guests should have been relocated and fumigation arranged through a professional pest controller.
Naturally, we were very uncomfortable and upset about the situation and requested that we were moved room, we were advised there was no other rooms available and had to make alternative arrangements ourselves, paying £190 extra for a one-night stay elsewhere 30 mins taxi ride away from the centre…
Following our stay the hostel has been contacted on several occasions to discuss a suitable refund and a reimbursement of the hotel arranged for the final night but despite an immediate reply, the hostel has now gone missing and are not replying to their emails.
A complaint has been raised with Booking.com and this will be followed up with the authorities to ensure we get maximum compensation for this ordeal.
Would not recommend!

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
We would like to clarify that this was not an infestation situation. All of our rooms were recently renovated, including new beds and mattresses throughout the hostel. As soon as the situation was brought to our attention on the morning after check-in, immediate action was taken to minimise the issue and support the affected guests.
The initial report concerned 3 of the 8 beds in the upper part of the dormitory, and management spoke directly with the group to discuss the situation and available solutions. Although alternative accommodation within the hostel was limited, we offered and arranged a private room for the 3 affected guests at no additional cost, which was accepted by the group. Refunds were also issued as part of our efforts to resolve the matter promptly.
As the remaining guests in the dormitory had not reported any issues, and the room layout included separate upper and lower sleeping areas, the rest of the group remained in the room at that time.
On the second night, another concern was reported regarding a different bed in the lower section of the dormitory involving the same group. However, the room was inspected and no further evidence was found. Unfortunately, due to the hostel being fully booked, we were unable to relocate the remaining guests internally. We immediately scheduled a deep clean of the room and also offered a refund for the final night to allow the guests to arrange alternative accommodation if they wished.
Immediately after the group checked out, we began a full professional treatment procedure in both affected areas of the room. We take matters like this extremely seriously. We are a clean and welcoming hostel, and we always aim to make our guests feel comfortable and safe during their stay.
We apologise again for the inconvenience caused, and we hope to host you again in better conditions.
