Perfect location. Great hotel. Easy check in and we could check in early as room was ready. Only fault no water in hotel room .

Its my husband's and I favourite hotel. Its newly built and its mostly tourists that stay there. Its next door to M&S, Jervis Shopping centre and close to different cafes and restaurants. The tram is just outside the door so its easy to get to Heuston station if you're travelling further. The staff are always very helpful and pleasant. Rooms are clean and modern. If you're not sure where to stay... stop scrolling and book this hotel. I'm Iridh myself and Ive stayed in most of the hotels in Dublin over the years... hands down this is the best for value for money, location, friendly helpful staff and a clean modern room.

Excellent customer service

I moved to motel one after being dissatisfied with my room at a different hotel - on arrival Megan in reception could not have been lovlier . I then had a bit of a problem with the AC a again Megan was amazing offered me a new room offered to help me move and organised a free breakfast and complimentary drink - anyway I decided in the end to stay in my original room - Megan refused to take the vouchers back and was utterly lovely ! Then she did no more than come and find me with a free bar snack and drink ! I’m overwhelmed by her kindness, loveliness and excellent customer service - what an absolute asset to the hotel . A real treasure .

No Working AC

My family of 4 is currently staying at MotelOne Dublin in 2 separate rooms. We arrived yesterday afternoon and quickly checked in. Because we were in a hurry to return our rental car and find dinner we did not notice that the air conditioning was not working properly in either room. By not working properly, I mean that it is blowing hot air, and the thermostat throws an error message. Since we are on the 4th floor and it was a very warm day, the temperature in our room is about 80 degrees. When I asked the front desk for assistance, they said there was nothing they could do because they do not have maintenance on staff in the evening and the hotel was full. This is our second time staying here during this trip, but this is the first time they had oscillating fans on the shelves in the rooms. In my opinion, they knew the AC was broken in both rooms when they checked us in. I said that to the night manager and he did not deny it and simply said, “I am sorry. There is nothing I can do.” This is not an inexpensive place, and they are boasting that they provide rooms with AC. If they is something you are looking for, go elsewhere.

Staff was so helpful when we arrived early, jet lagged and struggling. They found us rooms as soon they could. Easy checkin/checkout, clean rooms and convenient to everything we wanted to do in Dublin. Will definitely stay again.
