St. Helens is an amazing property. This hotel is well located in South Dublin and the staff were above and beyond helpful. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the food was very good. The rooms were well appointed and clean. We look forward to recommending this to our friends and family.

Wonderful location with stunning gardens. Beds are very large and comfy. Staff very friendly. A huge thank you especially to Niccolo at reception, he organised a little birthday cake surprise in my room. What a charming, efficient and professional young man. A credit to the hotel.

Disappointing for a 5 Star Hotel

Very disappointed with my stay here, rooms dated and in bad need of refresh. Price of drinks way more expensive than anywhere else.
We queued for 30 minutes at 10am for breakfast with plenty of free tables but looked like not enough staff to keep them cleared. Had to pay extra for poached eggs on breakfast menu.
Hard to see how this hotel is 5 star.

Dear F2119KXmariec,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay at St. Helens Hotel.
We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate you sharing your concerns, and we understand your disappointment, particularly given the standards associated with a 5-star hotel.
While we are pleased that you chose to stay with us, we regret that aspects of your visit, including the condition of the room, breakfast experience, and overall value, fell short of what you were hoping for. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the guest rooms. We recognise the importance of maintaining and enhancing our facilities, and we are pleased to confirm that refurbishment plans are in progress for the near future. These improvements will allow us to further enhance the comfort and experience we provide while preserving the unique character and charm of our historic property.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with the refined and memorable experience that we aim to deliver to all our guests.

Beautiful hotel, absolutely gorgeous building and garden. Room was spacious and nice. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with having to ask for coffee after 20 mins and very ok but basic selection (some grapes were moldy) . Our stay was ruined though by one of us getting an allergic reaction the brownie at the orangerie that shouldnt have contained nuts.
