They let us check in at 11:00 because the room was clean early and they stored our bags for no extra cost in the day of checkout. The too was clean however we had no toilet roll and there is no sanitary bin in the toilet. The bed is a bit small for two people but overall it was very good value for money!

Terrible.

There were many animals on the bed in the first room, the floor was filthy and the sink too. After this we got a new room ‘which should be clean’. Nothing could be further from the truth. The second room had a toilet with blood and poop stains on the edge. The floor was also dirty with hair. The third room was also filthy, the shower was full of mold and also here the floor was not clean. Also, the room was incredibly stuffy. The window could be opened but then you were woken up early because we stayed at a busy intersection. In addition, one employee did not speak to us properly. She said sorry but didn't even look at us. She didn't care. We will never come back here

Not a good experience. Do not recommend

Location of this accommodation is ideal with only a few minutes walk to O Connell street. En-suite was small but functional and the shower was good. However the condition of the bedrooms in these apartments are a disgrace. There was writing all over the wall above the desk and the rest of the walls were walking with filth. The rooms were boiling hot. The bed was on the small side but not an issue for us but they were incredibly uncomfortable. I could feel the bed frame underneath me when I sat on it. Television in the kitchen was not working and when I went to reception to report this, the response I received was “sorry I don’t know it’s my first day” ……???
I woke at 6am to a group of at least 15-20 children/teens playin football, shouting, cheering etc in the courtyard of the accommodation and this went on for the entire morning. These children must have been guests as when we checked out about 2-3 hours later they were still there with backpacks and a few adults had appeared. No option to ring down to reception from the room to report the noise. Signs all over the complex saying quiet hours are from 10pm-8am .. !
We had to pick between leaving the window closed but absolutely boil in the room with the heat or open the window and not get back to sleep with the noise. No respect for others whatsoever. I could not wait to get out of the place.

Description of room needs to be improved.
My husband and I did not know it was a dorm room, and we booked for 2 nights.
Location was great.
A fan was needed.
Staff was helpful.

The room was clean and tidy, I have no issues with the level of cleanliness specifically with our room. However, the listing for the room is incorrect and should be appropriately listed. As per the advertisement AND my specific booking, the room was marketed as a Double. The room we received had a small double, which for one person is doable, however for a couple, not appropriate in my opinion. When I proceeded to question about this, considering I was under the assumption that I was paying for a double, I was met by a shrug of the shoulders and an answer of “That’s just the way it is”. They also didn’t change the towels or attend to the rooms at any point, so when we required new towels we had to ask for them and that was the same with requiring toilet paper. I would only recommend this place to young, solo travellers, who don’t mind the whole place being left to your own personal devices rather than having a little bit of warm hospitality that anyone would assume you’d have when you’re paying to stay in Dublin City centre. I would also suggest that you change the listing, to ensure people know what exactly they are paying for, also encouraging staff to be a little more welcoming and friendly would be an added bonus.
