Clean, friendly people, great breakfast

Stayed for one night, absolutely nice B&B, the pub is also great, rooms are clean and nice!
Everyone is helpful and takes care after you!

Good structure and very kind staff.

Very nice structure above a traditional pub. We greatly appreciated the kindness of the staff girl who, due to a water interruption for street work, promptly provided us with many bottles of water. Breakfast is included but limited to the menu options; I would have preferred more choices. Great location with free parking.

To be avoided

The room is very small with a closet serving as a bathroom.
Moreover, it faces the street, which is noisy.
I absolutely do not recommend.

Dreadful accommodation

Room was noisy, very small with en suite in a broom cupboard. Price and reviews led us to believe it would be good. Big mistake. Cooked breakfast stone cold.

“That’s the difference “

As I arrived in Galway to celebrate valentine weekend with my wife of 30 years and booked into a Michelin star restaurant for Saturday night,I came across this pub/restaurant establishment offering a pre- valentine night with entertainment for €35 per person.
Why not ! I say ,lucky to get a table and arrived at 7 to be welcomed with a glass of champagne from mark and escorted to our table beside pianist Harry who was entertaining us for the evening.
We had a choice of 3 starters ,4 mains and a medley of dessert.myself and my wife had different dishes and all were extremely tasty and presented well .
The pianist Harry was a lovely addition to the ambiance of the evening and management should be particularly please with the choice of this to create an atmosphere on the evening.
We look forward to our Michelin experience tomorrow night but as a chef for 40 years myself,the sliding rock was a credit to their staff and management tonight and hopefully our Michelin star restaurant tonight will live up to its reputation like the sliding rock did last night
