The whole hotel was amazing we had a spacious room for 2 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy from the pool, the outdoor park and outdoor games to the board games supplied. The breakfast was lovely with lots of selection and everything was warm. We ate in the bar twice and everyone loved the food. Would definitely return.

I normally love this hotel, it’s one of my favourite in Ireland, but there is serious construction work happening at the moment which wasn’t listed anywhere or communicated in advance and severely impacts the lodges and rooms to the rear of the hotel. We had workers walking past our windows day and evening, the noise was loud and the dust it caused was horrendous.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the lodge in general was not up to standard. There were crisps in the bedsheets, sweets, bottles and more not cleaned from the last guests. Was very disappointed with the accommodation this trip.
Although the spa and restaurant was still lovely.

If you're expecting a peaceful stay in a country setting, this is not the place for you. The so-called "Executive Lodges" are fairly ordinary self-catering apartments, located just 100m from the really noisy and busy M4 motorway. A number of the lodge apartments are in derelict condition, apparently because of a long-standing ownership dispute. We had the misfortune of being allocated a lodge adjoining one of these horrible looking derelict buildings. Additionally, there are construction works ongoing at the moment so it's a constant flow of trucks in and out. The playground area is a big building site. The leisure centre changing and showering facilities are a very poor standard pre-fab (under renovation). The outdoor sauna is electric and seats about 4 people max or it it feels too crowded. The gym and pool are good. The breakfast bar is nothing spectacular and the table service was very poor (asked for a cup of tea and was completely ignored). Room service mixed up our order, basic errors. The reception desk experience was poor, the staff could have been more courteous and focused on checking us in instead of talking to each other about a non-urgent matter. Overall, this place is totally over-priced for what it is. It is not a 4 star experience. Having recently stayed in the Mullingar Park Hotel, there is no comparison between the two. Won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it to a friend. In fairness, the manager offered us a complimentary meal, which was very good.

We had a very good stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly during our stay.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was also convenient and the overall experience was very good.
We would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.
