Hidden gem in Co.Kerry

Mum and I are travelling around Ireland and decided to stay here as a base for Co. Kerry - this was an absolute gem and the best place we have stayed so far, a week into our trip. The decor is beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is very modern and the craic downstairs in the pub is unmatched! Highly recommend staying here

New menu choices, better than ever!

Foley's has been our go-to place for a pint or dinner for many years.
Last year, their menu selection became a bit restricted, especially in the shellfish choices. We mentioned our opinion on this to the proprietor early this summer.
Last night, we had dinner at Foley's with friends from England. We were all delighted to see a new menu which had the return of mussels in three different choice sauces rather than the old version - just a white wine sauce, which every pub serving mussels offers.
Now, in addition to other new lovely choices, your mussels can be had in white wine, red chilli, or a curry sauce. Our group sampled all three, and they were excellent, as were the mussels themselves!

Pat and Grace are lifesavers!

Pat and Grace, owners of Foleys, are amazing people. We stayed in the beautiful self catering homes for a week. It was a last minute booking and Pat truly saved our trip! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We also ate at their restaurant in town with amazing service and great food. If you have the opportunity I would definitely recommend doing business with the Foley family.

Hotel room fine. Bed comfortable. Shower great. From an adjacent building which presumably does exercise classes on morning 1 there was loud drum and base music keeping me awake from 05.45. On morning 2 it started at 02.45. They really need to get this sorted as the constant stop and start of a bass beat is a worst case scenario. My noise cancelling headphones did not help.
