Wonderful location, great place to be based for exploring, and very good hotel too, highly recommended!

We were staying as part of large family celebrations, and we all loved it.
Based on a B&B basis, we all found the food quality, service and attention to detail above the norm.
Staying for a two night break, everything worked so well for us,
Our room looked out to the coast, and what views too…
Room was spacious, clean and well laid out, comfortable bed, and decor to suit.
Breakfast was cooked to order with a small buffet to snack on while waiting.
There’s a bar, and dining area, and if the weather allows, seating outside the hotel to view across the bay, wonderful views.
Those driving there is a car park opposite which was free.
And, if staying local, a short walk into town, food, bars and shops to explore.
If wishing to explore West Cork, we thoroughly recommend staying over, use as a base.
We will be back to stay,

Lovely little hotel in a quaint town. We just stayed the one night while doing a bit of a tour around the west coast/Wild Atlantic Way. The food options looked a little restrictive for vegans but the front desk did assure me the chef could have catered for me at brekkie and dinner, we just chose to eat out instead.

Schull is a gem. Loads to do locally with lots of walks/hikes to explore and enjoy, which is why my wife and I were there. There is an abundance of water sports/activities available and the ferry to the islands.Each of the local towns have a trail head, where a number of looped walks start, and there are also walks to the next town where you can get lunch etc before returning to the start.
The hotel is directly across the road from the trailhead and a large car park.
The food in the hotel excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, well maintained and recently refurbished. The rooms at the front have spectacular views of the harbour and islands. It is a short drive to neighbouring towns/villages and to the Mizen.
It might be a bit of a drive to get there, but I used this as an opportunity to stop along the way and (re)discover this part of west Cork; it did not disappoint, with loads more to discover when I return to the area.
