Amazing experience
This hotel was fantastic. Me and my partner stayed for a night and it was amazing. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Food in the hotel was delicious and so filling. They made checkout so easy and no big rush. Would highly recommend this hotel just to get away and relax.

It should be modernized!
We stayed at the Brandon Hotel for two nights. The property, which is located in the center of Tralee, although it offers essential services, is very dated and would need an urgent renovation. The restaurant should also be brought up to the level of similar facilities: breakfast is poor, as is the menu selection. The hotel's conference center hosts the Celtic Steps festival, a show of typical Irish music and dance, and on the second evening, paying 35 euros per person, we attended the Gaelic music and dance show!

It needs renovation
Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. The rooms and some common areas are rather old and would need a major modernization and maintenance intervention.
The catering also left us very disappointed: quality and organization were not up to expectations. Furthermore, some members of our group had health problems after meals, an aspect that made the stay even more unpleasant.
We hope that the facility can take these observations as a starting point for improvement, especially regarding the quality of the catering and the comfort of the environments.

Rose of Tralee stay at the Brandon hotel
Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Brandon Hotel, Princes Street Tralee.
While the reception area & bedrooms could do with updating, the bedroom itself offers everything you would need for your stay.The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of bars & restaurant.
The crowing glory of this hotel is its staff, outstanding helpful staff , always greet guest with a genuine smile & helpful information & advice if needed.
While all hotels work best with good staff, some are outstanding & I would like to compliment two in particular. The meteoric of the dinning room herself is Noreen ,caring, thoughtful with customer service her first & foremost passion.she runs the the breakfast session with a smile & knowing her guests from her first encounter is a skill to be admired, A million thanks Noreen for making our stay extra special.
Joanne at reception is a beautiful lady who cares for every guest coming through the door ,with her unique & caring personality. If Joanne say no problem to an issue I’ll sort it be assured it done to perfection. There doesn’t ever seem to be anything that this young lady can’t address . Thank you Joanne for your kindness & attention to detail.
Please pass on our thanks to everyone at the Brandon & if you visit this hotel your holiday is off to a good start.

Terrible Hotel
What a terrible experience. We went during the Rose festival, so we expected the town to be noisy, but we didn’t know our room faced the funfair which the reception staff told me would close between 22.00 and 23.00. That was not the case, it didn’t close until 1 am.
When I asked if we could move rooms, I was told there was a free room but they couldn’t move us because we’d already entered the current room.
The sheets smelt musty, the room was tiny and we couldn’t leave the windows open because it was too noisy.
I asked for two extra soft pillows and was told they only had one, which was like a brick it was so hard. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable.
At breakfast we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee, we asked for coffee, but the waitress promptly forgot, even though there were only 5 people in the restaurant.
I would not recommend this hotel and will not be booking again.

The funfair forms part of the annual Rose of Tralee Festival, and unfortunately, the hotel has no control over its operating times. We appreciate that the noise may have been disruptive during the festival, although the usual closing time would generally be around 10:30–11:00pm.
Regarding the linen, our bed linen is outsourced to a professional linen company and is freshly laundered before being delivered to the hotel. We are disappointed to hear that you felt the sheets were not to the expected standard, and we will certainly raise this with our linen provider.
