Excellent hotel for a stay in ACRE

It was sometime I wanted to visit Acre or Akko, and I made a reservation a few months earlier but due to the war and the situation in the region, we postponed, we received room 109, it is not exactly where the reception is, as the rooms are around in the Old city of Akko, the room was very nice, big, with a very good bed, nice bathroom with showers, the courtesies were very nice, as well as the amenities in the bathroom, all top-quality, and also the service of the reception is excellent.
the breakfast is served on top of the reception on a very steep stairs to a second floor with balcony to the sea, food service is excellent, and all what they serve for breakfast is very good.
Excellent hotel, location is very good and I found parking just on the entrance....perfect....the hotel as well.

Not approaching

The price of a boutique hotel is far from reality!!! The windows in the room were broken and the storm in the night (winter) we couldn't sleep at all. Arrival to the apartment/room (room "View the Mediterranean") through a dark way with garbage cans and posters in Arabic, not inviting in the least.

Nice.

Crazy view, huge room in a special and authentic structure. Very disappointed with meals, I'll make it worse and say, ugly. There are no basic things in the dining room like fresh pastries, mushrooms, butter, crackers, no cut vegetables to choose from. There's a pre-cut green salad, no cheeses to smell.
Nicole's great service, a non-standard hotel full of stairs, it's stressful to forget something in the room if we don't have to go up all the stairs again. We don't think we're going back here.
