Best Kept Secret Boutique Hotel in Jerusalem
Boutique hotel in Geula, an ultra Orthodox area of Jerusalem. The hotel itself caters to everyone and when you come in the front door, you are entering an artist's dream house full of antique furniture and artifacts all around. The people who work there are incredibly warm and welcoming. We took three rooms which also has a door so it turns into more of an apartment. While food isn't served, there is cereal and cakes, coffee and tea, and cookies, available 24 hours in the common room. So for a unique Jerusalem experience, I highly recommend this hotel. It's a well kept secret, oh, and very reasonably priced.

Quiet oasis in a busy environment
The location of the hotel is ideal if you want to stay in Geula, the Jewish Orthodox center in Jerusalem. The other centers of Jerusalem such as Jaffa Street can be reached within 5 to 10 minutes. Even if the street noise is noticeable in my room (located on the ground floor), you feel very comfortable in the hotel and its beautifully landscaped idyllic garden. This, despite the lively activity on Tzefania Street near the very busy Jeheskel Street (an important thoroughfare for buses).
My room was spacious and functionally furnished. Unfortunately there was no closet. Instead it had a relatively large chest of drawers. Since the room (106) is on the ground floor you could enjoy the beautiful garden. The room was also equipped with a kettle, a microwave and a refrigerator.
The translucent door to the garden also has no night curtain.
The walls of the bathroom were also translucent, which is not necessarily a good thing.
The whole hotel and the room have a nostalgic touch with a certain elegance.
Great importance is also attached to security. The main entrance and the entrance to the house are not accessible to strangers.

Wonderful Place, wonderful staff
The staff was wonderfully warm and helpful. The historic building has such amazing character and the furnishings and the artifacts were really appreciated. The staff were very helpful with regard to buses to take and where to get things as well as local information. Our room and all the extras were so appreciated. Water hot all the time, beds very comfortable. We had an iron, microwave, fridge, tea, milk, kettle and basic crockery. Tea and coffee and cookies were available 24 hours in the reception area. We were able to use the washer and dryer free of charge. Such a lovely place; we had a wonderful time. Tsefania is in the heart of Geula area but the hotel was a quiet haven. Thanks to Michal, Esther, Tamar, Asaf and everybody whose name we didn't get. We'll be back!
