Just like at home, with less mental load.
Warm welcome, chic but not ostentatious, and full of thoughtfulness. Delicious cuisine. Here, everything is designed to reduce mental load.

A decrepit hotel dressed elegantly
Welcome to the only 5-star hotel (probably in the world) without air conditioning which, with 40 degrees outside, means at least 30 degrees in the rooms. The meeting of hotel guests at the reception at 11 PM who cannot sleep because of the heat and are asking for at least a fan is included in the price. As well as a creaky bed (room 109), cracked shower stall glass, dinner with at least 3 similar courses (consommé, vegetable soup, small pasta in broth), poor breakfast. Little courtesy at the reception, they will not ask you how things are going, the customer comes last. Nonexistent management, the only positive note is the hotel staff, always kind and helpful in saving what little can be saved. Sustainability, ecology, and energy saving, these unknowns. There are hotels in Abano, even of a lower category, that offer much more at a lower price. Photos included. Highly unrecommended.

Preferirei non rispondere a tanta violenza verbale riportata sia su Google che su TripAdvisor. Inutile puntualizzare o commentare le inesattezze , solo mi spiace che dopo 4 notti di soggiorno in questa estate canicolare da record abbia aspettato la partenza per pubblicare la sua recensione senza peraltro decidere subito di cambiare hotel essendo questo territorio davvero ricco di proposte diverse probabilmente più adatte alle sue esigenze ed aspettative

A 5-star hotel in decline
The setting is magnificent, the building has a lot of charm, and the location is remarkable. That is, moreover, what makes the experience so disappointing: this hotel could be exceptional.
Unfortunately, with the exception of the 5th floor which seems to have been renovated, the establishment gives the impression of having evolved very little over several decades. The rooms, bathrooms, and amenities are dated and, despite decent maintenance, the whole gives more of an impression of dilapidation than charm.
The air conditioning is very noisy and almost ineffective. The soundproofing of the rooms is also insufficient for a hotel of this category: conversations and televisions from neighboring rooms are perfectly audible.
The wellness facilities, although highlighted on the website, are also disappointing. At the pool, one out of every two massage jets no longer works due to the age and scaling of the equipment. As for the Kneipp path, it was completely clogged and therefore unusable during our stay.
The restaurant is decent, without, however, reaching the level expected in a 5-star establishment.
The extras for breakfast are not worthy of a 5-star hotel.
The real strong point of this hotel is its staff. All the teams were remarkable: professional, attentive, warm, and always available. Their quality of service is, in itself, worthy of a true luxury hotel.
In summary, the problem is neither the location nor the teams, but an establishment that no longer seems to be at the level of the rating it displays. And saying that it is family-oriented does not excuse the lack of renovation. If the hotel wants to reach a younger clientele, it will have to undergo a major renovation.

Hotel with outdated charm, pleasant, but to refresh
This is our second stay at this property. It has that old-fashioned look of hotels built in the '60s. The common areas are vast. Old-fashioned musical entertainment... The superior rooms are decent but a refreshment would be welcome. The bedding is good. What in my opinion is the main asset of this establishment are the indoor and outdoor pools with its massage jets, as well as a fairly good range of treatments offered, mainly massages. The hammam and Jacuzzi areas could be modernized. Breakfast is good without being exceptional. It has declined in quality and variety over time. We had neither lunch nor dinner, not very tempted to be honest by the rather old map. The staff as a whole is affable. The location is not exceptional, but it allows to radiate, whether to the Euganean Mountains, Padua, Stra, and even Ferrara, Venice or Chioggia. Finally, the hotel has a pleasant park inhabited by rabbits.
