SUPER
A big YES! I can't wait to book for a new weekend. We spent two very pleasant days, thanks to the air of home that Cristina Boris and Guglielmo have created. By lucky chance we were the only ones to use the pool and they even left us control of the music and offered a great mojito as an aperitif. You can see that these are people who do this work with heart and care. The kitchen surprised me, well above average (and again thanks for the vegetarian option that I forgot to report and that was successfully improvised). We stayed in the Loft which, as described, had a bathroom for 12 beds (some of them futon so resting on the ground) and if used as a foothold, without particular pretensions, has everything you need. It is definitely not a place that aspires to luxury and the prices confirm it. In short: if you know what to expect, you will not be disappointed at all! Good and beautiful :) hope to return!

❌ Misleading photos, dilapidated housing and aggressive handling – I strongly discourage ❌
If you are thinking of booking here, stop for a moment and read all the way.
My experience has been so bad that I want to avoid anyone finding themselves in the same situation as us.
What we have found:
• Mould and rust in different places.
• Items stacked and mess everywhere.
• Broken beds, torn bedspreads and with dead insects.
• “Clean” barbecue grill that we had to disinfect before using it.
The context:
There were 10 of us for a party that had been organized for a long time.
I did not immediately report the situation to avoid ruining the evening: by then we were there, we had the expense for the barbecue and no practical alternative.
The critical point:
After dinner, 4 people decided not to stay overnight due to the condition of the beds.
I asked to pay for only one apartment, but my request was refused.
The management degenerated: the owners called the Carabinieri and blocked our cars.
If they hadn't called them, we would have called them for behavior that we deemed dangerous.
Conclusion:
To avoid prolonging the show, I paid up and left.
I would never recommend this property. I have photos and videos documenting everything reported.

I have never had such a terrible experience as at Villa Gioia. The room, which was actually an apartment, was in dire condition: cracked walls, mold stains everywhere, cobwebs in corners and broken components as far as the eye could see. The beds had split slats and the whole room exuded such a high humidity level that it was impossible even to sleep: the sheets themselves seemed wet.
At the entrance, as a business card, we found ourselves in front of a sprayer for the cockroaches: a clear signal that the environment could be infested with insects. The dust was everywhere, thick and filthy, so much so that we could not lean on it anywhere without feeling disgust.
Defining this dirty structure is simplistic: it is simply unlivable and unhealthy. I don't understand how such a place can be rented: it is not worthy of receiving guests.
I highly recommend anyone to stay here.

True Relaxation, Sincere Welcoming
We spent a few days at Villa Gioia Country House and it was a really refreshing experience. The structure is surrounded by greenery, simple and welcoming, perfect for those seeking tranquility and contact with nature.
The owners and staff are extraordinary: kind, helpful and always ready to make guests feel at home. The environment is informal, no frills, but nice and clean. The rooms are comfortable and the food is really great, prepared with quality ingredients and lots of passion.
Do not expect luxury or five-star hotels: here you come to slow down, breathe fresh air, eat well and relax in the silence of the woods. A true gem for those who love authentic simplicity. Highly recommended!

Excellent
This small hotel is located a little outside the village. A great place to relax. There is also a pool where you can cool off. You can also have dinner here, but we always went into the village in the evening.
