Wow! Right on the beach!! The pool looked fabulous and the balcony was exquisite! A quick drive up the road is scala de tuchi-go there for sunset! Breakfast was elegant and delicious! The staff was great!!

Nice location, friendly staff - the rest has room for improvement.

The hotel is very nicely located with its own beach and a lovely swimming pool. Unfortunately, our room did not meet the 4-star standard. There is also a lot of room for improvement at breakfast. In particular, it is worth noting that there is usually only one type of bread available besides toast. The staff is consistently attentive and friendly.

Faded glory with misleading appearance

Hotel Villa Romana undoubtedly once enjoyed a solid reputation, but in 2026 the rooms are outdated and in urgent need of a thorough renovation. Moreover, the photos on the website no longer give a realistic picture of the current state of the hotel. Our bathroom suffered from a pungent sewer smell.
During dinner one evening our group was served a meat dish that was chewy, barely sliceable and consequently inedible. Although management apologized for this, we were surprised when it turned out that no financial compensation was possible. That is difficult to reconcile with the appearance and expectations of a hotel that presents itself as a four-star accommodation.

Ci teniamo a precisare che presso Hotel Villa Romana effettuiamo regolarmente interventi di manutenzione ordinaria e che è attualmente in corso un processo di ammodernamento della struttura, proprio con l’obiettivo di offrire un servizio sempre più in linea con le aspettative dei nostri clienti.
Siamo spiacenti per quanto segnalato riguardo alla camera e al bagno: si tratta di situazioni che non rispecchiano i nostri standard e che verranno ulteriormente verificate con attenzione.
Per quanto concerne la cena, desideriamo sottolineare che, a fronte della sua segnalazione, sono state prontamente proposte ben due alternative al piatto iniziale. Inoltre, a fine serata, sono stati offerti alla vostra tavolata gelato tipico siciliano, amari e limoncello come gesto di attenzione nei vostri confronti.
Ci dispiace che tali interventi non siano stati percepiti come adeguati e prendiamo comunque atto della sua osservazione, che ci aiuterà a migliorare ulteriormente il nostro servizio e la comunicazione con gli ospiti.
Speriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente in futuro per offrirle un’esperienza più soddisfacente.

Terrible.

Uncomfortable room, I came with school and I will never come again , the food: unclassifiable , a companion of mine found a thorn in the food , you see, in the room it smells, the dishes are dirty

Nice view to the water, large patio balcony overlooking the pool and beach, good breakfast buffet. reasonable price especially as we traveled off season in late March.
