Absolutely recommended
We stayed one night in the prickly pear trullo, located in the center of Alberobello. It is perfect if you are passing through and you have little time, but you still do not want to miss the opportunity to visit Alberobello! The trullo is pretty, nice, functional and very clean. Francesco has always been available to solve any doubt and need.

A true corner of paradise, the absolute feeling of relaxation given by the olive trees surrounding the pool and the immense expanses of greenery create a breathtaking atmosphere,
The trullo spikes, the real gem, fresh equipped in its small with every comfort.
Francesco, the Owner, extremely kind ready to fill any request or problem that may arise.

Relaxing holiday
I spent 5 days with my family (me, my husband and two girls aged 10 and 8) in the Spiga trullo, I must say one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had.
In this structure you can literally unplug from the world, you are immersed in the greenery, in the olive trees, in absolute silence, we spent the afternoon in the wonderful swimming pool of about 25 meters of salt water, perfectly maintained, equipped with comfortable deckchairs for all guests .
In the evening we reached Alberobello comfortably on foot (about 10 minutes of walking). Nearby there is a mini market and a laundry.
Excellent cleaning.

Visit to Trullo Paparale 25th June till the 27th June.
Great Experience at Trulli Paparale Residence exceptional experience, where the residents are taken care of. The owners offer that extra care. Indeed a wonderful experience.
They go into detail of providing basic needs in groceries for your first needs at the stay in the Trulli. You are taken care of from your arrival at the residence till the departure.
Would recommend to families as it is the ideal place to rest. Even the location of the Trullo is central to Alberobello.

Didn't live up to expectations
Let's start with the good bits, because it was not entirely bad. The property is in a great location, a short walk to town but in the quiet of the countryside. The airport transfer was very welcome and reasonably priced. The apartment we stayed in was well thought out and nicely decorated.... but it wasn't exactly clean, in fact we found broken glass on the floor and the private terrace attached to the apartment was decidedly grotty.
WiFi is essential for me when booking accommodation as I often need to work, there was no connection during the course of our stay, blamed on that old chestnut, the weather! The owners did try to get the internet going but with very limited success, we had to sit on the steps outside the bathroom to get any sort of connection at all, which was very intermittent and lasted less than an hour.
The pool was closed and the area in which it was situated was in desperate need of some attention. Granted we did stay early in the season but other hotels in the area had their pools open, which we were happy to use. This would not have been so disappointing had we been advised up front.
The biggest disappointment was the promised welcoming basket of local products, which conjured up images of local cheeses, yogurts, juices, baked goods etc. In reality it consisted of 2 very small, very dry rusks per person and a couple of tiny jars of bland jam.
The previous reviews and descriptions on the various booking website promised so much more than was actually delivered, in fact we were so disappointed that we changed to another hotel in the area (at additional expense) which was clean, had WiFi and a working pool and provided a very varied, delicious breakfast.
