Excellent experience last night at La Gabelletta in Amelia: tasty food and a very well-kept atmosphere! The egg with truffle as an appetizer is recommended

Lovely place, but... it could use a bit more attention to detail

Very nice place, cozy and clean rooms, very kind staff. The pool is splendid, even though they lose points on details. In a place like this, in my opinion, it is unacceptable not to pay attention to items that should be discarded, such as a worn-out, broken, and unusable life ring and two pre-war loungers, completely broken and worn out. I would improve the breakfast offerings, which seemed a bit lacking, especially considering the price for a night that was not very low.

It can be improved

Very nice structure surrounded by so much greenery, the location makes the stay really regenerating, very nice pool
Spacious room and comfortable bed, bathroom to improve (the tub was scenic but not very usable) insufficient water flow

Weekend with friends, thanks for everything top

Beautiful property in the tranquility of the Umbrian hills a stone's throw from Amelia, guests in an apartment 2 bedrooms + sofa bed with 3 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator....
Large space in front where the pool and adjacent lawn complete the whole. Friendly staff, helpful to our requests (thanks to the owner and especially to Ms Caterina) and the 'Excellent Processing dedicated to us. Also equipped for gluten-free, hearty and quality breakfast.
Recommended for those who want to unwind, slow down from busy everyday life and relax.

Friendliness and elegance....... but breakfast!!!!

We stayed in this hotel with two dogs (one large and one small) and we were very satisfied with the PET friendly Welcoming: despite the elegance of the structure, we felt comfortable and we could live the stay in total tranquility.
The hotel is very elegant, spotless and furnished with great attention to detail. The location is great for visiting Amelia and its surroundings, so perfect as a base to discover the area.
The only point that left us puzzled is breakfast: in the three days of stay we found three different situations with a prevalence of supermarket products, not up to the level of the structure. Even if we were staring at homemade cakes, only on the last day we could taste excellent fresh cakes (in the previous 2 days they were dry - maybe it would have been simply useful to store them better). The salty part totally to review: it has always been of mediocre quality. The staff, although very kind, friendly and helpful, was a bit awkward and clearly not competent in the Service management.
Considering the category of the hotel (four stars) and the medium-high price, I believe that breakfast needs to be more accurate, with local products and superior quality, to be really aligned with the elegant and refined standard of the structure.
