TH Assisi Hotel Cenacolo in Santa Maria degli Angeli

Very beautiful and peaceful hotel. It is housed in a restored Franciscan convent with beautiful gardens. The hotel is located near a police station and McDonald's. Santa Maria degli Angeli church and Assisi train station are a few minutes walk. Buses to the city centre, airport shuttle bus and taxis are located outside Assisi Station. Bus C which goes to the city centre pass and stop near the hotel. Hotel is located in a very safe neighbourhood. To get to the hotel from Perugia Airport/Umbria lnternational Airport San Francesco D'Assisi you can take an airport shuttle bus outside the airport. The ticket purchased from the driver only cost €5. The journey from the airport to Assisi Station is about 20 minutes. From there you can walk to the hotel via Viale Giosue Carducci and Viale Patrono d'ltalia for about 9 minutes. The hotel has a private Chapel onsite, beautiful conference rooms, restaurant, bar, a library. The hotel rooms are very spacious with nice comfy beds. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. Hotel also serves lovely food in their restaurant and is very popular with large pilgrims, meaning that couples and small families might be served last in favour of the large groups despite being there first. The restaurant staff although nice need to improve on this aspect. Aside from that we love the hotel and would highly recommend this to everyone, business travellers, conferences, pilgrims, families and solo travellers. The staff in reception are lovely, professional and will ensure that your stay is good. We look forward to visiting you again.

Everything perfect!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the month of August.
Very clean and welcoming.
I had dinner at the hotel restaurant and had a very good experience.
It is perfect for visiting Assisi; the bus passes outside the hotel, although I recommend reaching it on foot (25-30 minutes).
Thanks to the whole staff, always kind and helpful.

Clean room, staff were good and the breakfast/evening meal were good. WiFi was terrible sometimes it worked ok other times it was poor. Rooms have no soundproofing, can hear every step/conversation from other guests walking past your room and banging about through the walls

The staff was lovely!

Lovely and perfectly located for many options, walking or by bus. The staff was lovely! I was a bit cold at night and over the first three nights stripped the second bed of blankets for warmth. It worked fine. Each day, the beds were remade. Then, on the 4th day, because the staff noticed this, they left an extra fluffy blanket on my bed for me. So thoughtful, without a word from me about the need.

Clean, simple, calm. An oasis after being trapped on a tour bus all day! Beautiful views of Assisi !

This hotel was actually quite nice- we had a room with a beautiful view of St Francis Basicilla. Our windows opened unto a lovely vista with fresh air, our toilet worked well (trust me, this was a great plus for us, our last hotel had issues!) the shower was lovely. The room was clean and sheets crisp. I liked the simplicity of the room and the restaurant in the hotel was not only very accommodating, the food was fresh and good, and the staff was very kind and helpful!
