Excellent property

We stayed at this hotel residence for a vacation at Capanna Margherita, we occupied a room for 4 with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a whirlpool tub.
Comfortable beds and very clean linens.
Excellent breakfast with various local products.
Staff and manager very kind and cordial.

A beautiful property, welcoming and quiet

We spent six days in this welcoming property located in a beautiful panoramic position. Tucked away and overlooking the historic center of Antagnod, the hotel is particularly quiet as it is far from the traffic of the provincial road. Among its peculiarities is that of independent access to the various rooms, some equipped with a balcony. Ours was spacious and well-furnished, clean, bright, and, as is tradition, with extensive use of wood. The choice of sweet and savory items at the buffet breakfast, which takes place from 8 onwards, is wide and of high quality. The owners proved to be very friendly and helpful, as well as generous with advice on possible destinations and excursions. The staff was courteous and attentive.
Overall, the hotel is an excellent reference point for a vacation in the Val d'Ayas, with a magnificent view of the Monte Rosa massif, the surrounding peaks, and the valley.

This hotel is a gem!! Flanked by stunning 360 degree views of the snow capped mountains and the valley below we were totally enchanted.
Our host was so friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions on where to hike and where to eat.
Their breakfast was extensive - eggs , cured meats , breads and cakes. We couldn’t ask for more.
Rooms were in mint condition. Bathrooms very clean.
Do note however that we visited during the off season so many restaurants were closed. Car parking available on the premises.
Excellent hotel and I highly recommend it.

A nice weekend in the mountains

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel located in a village that looks like something out of a storybook. The room was warm, simple and clean, the bed with topper was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice of sweet and savoury , freshly squeezed oranges, (now unavailable even in luxury hotels) and freshly cooked eggs. Competent management.

Great place at the mezzalama

Great hotel. Two years in a row I've been here. I'll be back again. Great beds. Good sleep. A view of the valley floor. I'm very happy. Too bad it does not give the precise address of restaurants open in the evening on the map. But it's up to the tourist office.
