Location yes, tradition less so.

Location located in Tre Stelle, a hamlet of Barbaresco.
The property is composed of several accommodation blocks, a bar-restaurant dedicated to guests, a pool also open to outsiders, a second gourmet restaurant, and a spa.
Good and quick welcome. The room was clean, simple, and equipped with a very high-performance air conditioner.
We used the pool, which, however, does not provide any assistance service and has attached bathrooms that, during our stay, were not particularly clean. Since it is also open to outside guests, it can be quite crowded on the weekend.
The first evening we had dinner at the restaurant dedicated to guests. It is possible to taste local wines and savor Piedmontese dishes. The service was willing, but in my opinion still poorly prepared and not always up to the type of experience proposed, especially in the explanation of the wines, with some almost funny situations.
The management and organization of the property, in my judgment, fail to fully enhance the identity and tradition of the territory. I would have expected greater attention to the local food and wine culture and an experience more authentically linked to the Langhe.
Bar prices decidedly high: 20 euros for two spritzes seemed excessive to me, especially considering the service received.
The property seemed to me to be oriented mainly toward an international tourist clientele. For us Italians, however, the ratio between room and breakfast can be more affordable compared to other properties in the area.
The breakfast, in fact, was truly excellent.
Spectacular view, both from the pool and from the restaurant.
In conclusion, while acknowledging the presence of numerous services and some positive aspects, I personally would not recommend it. The property has potential and a splendid location, but I did not perceive that particular atmosphere and that connection to the territory that I expected from a stay in the Langhe.

SIMPLY HOME

ago on Google
We just stayed a weekend at Casa Nicolini.
Home, is just the right word to describe the experience we lived.
Cinzia, the owner was a wonderful hostess.
We had a problem with our car and she kindly went out of her way to help us.
The stay of two nights was pure relaxation.
The rooms were spotless, warm given the period and very quiet.
Inside the structure there is their restaurant where they offer divinely cooked dishes.
We ate tajarin with truffles that we could choose.
We will definitely come back, because we found a place where we can feel at home, pampered and with fair prices for the quality offered.
Thank you Cinzia and all your staff always smiling and kind.
See you next time!

Lovely view from the balcony and good AC in the room. The pool area is a little dated but still very good. The hotel has a restaurant which is open for hotel guests with reasonable prices. The food is excellent and the sommelier is very good in recommending suitable wines to the food along with some information.

A paradise in the Langhe

We spent two nights in this splendid property together with a couple of friends, occupying two rooms, which were both clean and spacious!! the experience was simply perfect.
The place is wonderful, cared for in every smallest detail, with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, the pool is that extra touch. The staff was truly rarely kind and helpful, always attentive to every need and ready to make us experience a special stay.
We also had lunch on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the Langhe: a panorama that alone is worth the trip. But what won us over was the cuisine, authentic, rich in flavors and prepared with great care. It is one of those places that stay in your heart and that you can't wait to recommend and return to experience.
Thank you from the heart for the hospitality: we will definitely be back!
