Close to the Su Nuraxi di Barumini Nuraghe

A nice hotel in the middle of Sardinia and a good location to visit the Su Nuraxi di Barumini. The hotel has a cozy dining and breakfast room and a swimming pool. Dinner and breakfast was good quality. The rooms are simple, but clean and good enough for us.

Best pork chop I've ever had

Lunch with six others, I had the pasta with funghi and truffle oil which was also very good. The place is lovely, seating for large groups. Very friendly staff. And Oh My Goodness those pork chops! Perfectly cooked, tender, and so very tasty.

delicious lunch

Came here for lunch with family of six, we had a great lunch with typical sardinian dishes. I would recommend the fregola! The dessert was tiramisu, which was delightful. Also the waitress was nice and friendly. I would really recommend this restaurant.

Spacious room, quiet, but bad shower setup

I don't know if every room is like this, but in mine there was no shower curtain, so if you aren't careful water will get all over the floor. Secondly, there is no attachment on the wall for the shower nozzle, so you have to hold it with one hand while showering. I was only there for one night, but found this arrangement so annoying that I think I would have moved if I were planning to be there longer. Perhaps the other rooms are different, but it is something to watch out for. One plus though, is that there is actually a bathtub, and not a shower stall. Not that I take baths, but it is nice to not be crammed into a tiny shower stall as I have found in most of my accommodations in Italy. If they would just hang a shower curtain and add a wall attachment for the nozzle, it would be great.
Other than that, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean, although the area rugs and the walls were a little dingy (carpet cleaning and some fresh paint would go a long way). The location is nice and quiet and peaceful.
