A week in Bellagio

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. First night there we were treated to a snack and a drink ( the 'snack' was more like a very substantial starter and we were offered a second and a third drink).

This is a family show, so I'll avoid a huge number of four letter expletives but read between the lines and the asterisk

It was awful from beginning to end. Key collection was a joke. Waited an hour or more. Destination for the collection kept changing. First an address up in the hills outside Bellagio. Then the apartment itself. Which I couldn't find, despite having stayed in Bellagio five times previously. Then a ristorante. Stood around in the 30 degree heat for an hour or so. Guy apologised. Set off once more up two hundred flights of pebble cobble steps to the apartment. Not the apartment. 'There are four of you. Bigger apartment.' 'Yeah. That's what I paid for in advance and booked. And with a lake view....' What can I say. Tiny, boxy, old fashioned. 70 metres squared its internal area the description. Measured roughly with my six foot arm span. More like twenty five. Ancient old Samsung boxy cathode ray tube TV - no flatscreen tellies here. Telly accompanied by a VHS player. Living room/second bedroom was 3 metres by 3 metres. You had to coordinate movements as a minuet in the middle of the night what with the sofa bed pressed hard against the table. Bin was still filled with ancient rotting waste. Had an ant infestation and couldn't eat off the table. Lake view existed only if you were Superman and had X-ray vision. My tips. 1) Cut short your stay in Bellagio and use the money for a room in one of the lovely lakeside hotels. 2) Consider further out hotels or apartments and endure the walk but not the pebbled steps. 3) Best option, Stay in Como and get the ferry up when you want to visit Bellagio or Mennagio or Cannobio.

Finest Gem on Lake Como

My wife and I treated ourselves by chance to a fabulous introduction on our first visit to Lake Como by staying at Borgo Le Terazze Bellagio apartments. We lucked out in a "Superior Double room with lake view". Our view was an incredible 180 degree view of gorgeous Lake Como, from a large and private terrace. The room was huge as was the bath/shower room. Our king size bed was really comfy.
Breakfast, available from early to late, had multiple tasty choices, and certainly enough to last through to dinner.
I cannot say enough good things to compliment the staff. All were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. We were sorry not to booked for a longer stay. Leaving their lovely pool in the heat was hard!

Great place!

Location is primo! Great space for very good price. It's central to everything in Bellagio including best gelato and great thin crust pizza. Very spacious compared to hotel rooms.
Paula and Anna Marie are wonderful.
Apartment has good wifi.

Comfort and space in central Bellagio

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights. It was immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable and very convenient. We were welcomed by the delightful hosts who were keen to make sure that we had everything to make our stay memorable. We look forward to returning to Bellagio and would certainly choose to stay here again. We strongly recommend it to others.
