Excellent experience

We were recommended this hotel and we did well to trust them.. we had a very good time.. clean rooms, spacious balcony with small armchairs and a table with a really beautiful view of the harbor and sea.. all-inclusive service with full board really excellent.. quality food, themed evenings, very varied.. the lido 55 bis included in the rate is located in front of the hotel and is clean, the managers are very kind and helpful.. we found a really warm welcome considering also that our daughter is autistic and it is not simple to manage changes.

Disappointing

I had already been to this hotel 6 years ago, so I had returned with the same high expectations. Unfortunately, this year it is not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel; the food was scarce and monotonous. During the week of Ferragosto, I never saw seafood pasta or anything similar. The elevator was broken for 3 (and I mean 3) days, and our room was on the third floor, with my partner having mobility issues. Comparing with other guests (who were also disappointed), I even discovered that for the same period, days, and treatment, the price even varied quite a bit. The only positive note was the large terrace with a view of the sky, from which we saw the Ferragosto fireworks.

Nonexistent welcome

Right from our arrival, the welcome was not very empathetic, but in the following days it was practically nonexistent; to my greetings, the staff barely responded. Only the young woman and the night porter were helpful; even when we left, they did not deign to say goodbye. The dining room staff was very kind and helpful, the proposed menu was acceptable but the portions of the first courses were truly very small, the buffet for the Romagna-themed evening was good. The rooms were very small but clean, and the cleaning ladies were kind and helpful. Another sore point was the elevator, which left us stranded, and when I asked the reception for information, they replied that it was a problem for them and not for the customers who had to go up and down with luggage, small children, and mobility issues. Then, finally after 2 days it was repaired, and then after 1 day it got stuck again with 2 people inside, so every time you took it, you risked getting stuck inside.
Overall, I don't think I will return.

Perfect holiday

Excellent stay there, the meals are delicious. The chef deserves a medal, the table service was more than perfect (thanks Veronica). Quiet hotel facing the sea and at the same time not far from the lively center. I highly recommend for a successful holiday. Deckchairs reserved: no need to take your head and run to drop your towel, you can arrive at any time if you want to visit, they will be there. In short, a success

Great family run hotel

This hotel is on the river mouth and beach at the central part of this area. The staff are excellent especially the English speaking receptionists. We only had B&B ,but the breakfasts were lovely.
The rooms are excellent with good views over the sea or river mouth.
