Weekend in Benevento, excellent discovery!

A weekend in Benevento, I stayed in a double room at this hotel, I must say it's a beautiful property, very convenient location a stone's throw from the center, very large and spacious room, fairly new and comfortable bathroom, super air conditioning, good breakfast served in a very unique veranda.
Finally, I want to thank Marco at the reception who was truly very kind, I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Hotel Review

Location ok. Atmosphere not the best Rooms not clean bathtubs with mold and mildew sinks and walls were sticky not clean. Not worth the money. We stayed at this Hotel 10 years ago when fairly new and it was a great place to
Stay. Unfortunately this Hotel has gone downhill since then. I always give the hotel the benefit of the doubt, However in this instance I would like the travelers to have some information that O hope will be useful.

Good hotel next to Trajan's arch

Business trip. I chose a single room, which is really small but very well organized. Also convenient is the lobby, where I stopped for a call

Unfortunately to avoid!

The hotel Villa Traiano is located a few steps from the Arch of Trajan, so very close to the center of Benevento, great location! Seen from outside and in the reception area it is nice, worthy to stay a we, but when you enter the rooms and show up for breakfast you start to find serious shortcomings. My husband and I stayed last weekend so November and evening and overnight in the room was cold, not to mention the breakfast room, a freezing temperature, not pleasant, plus a poor breakfast from 2 star and not 4 star hotels as this hotel is identified. Besides, if you ask for scrambled eggs, which you find everywhere, you have to pay them separately... what a pity! I would say that “it’s not all gold that glitters”, they should invest some money and fix all the flaws that the customer sees in various points of the hotel. Only positive note the very nice staff except for Mrs. Alessia I would say less helpful than all the others. Unfortunately what about... not recommended.

No parking available - spent an hour trying to find somewhere to park.
No promised upgrade offered - no promised drink token offered!
Room was massively overpriced - no facilities to make a drink, not even a plastic cup to have a drink of water.
