Traditional B&B - a great find !

We arrived around 11am to drop our bags off and the gentleman said that our room was ready and we could check in. We had the Margarita room which was just off reception and opposite the breakfast room. It was bright and simply furnished, had a lovely big bathroom. The shower was good however it was very compact and difficult to wash your hair if your a tiny wee thing. Clean towels and shower gel were
Provided. The bed was very comfortable with lovely good quality sheets. Breakfast is 8-10am and the setting was beautiful really classy with each room allocated their own table. Choice of pastries, cereal, fresh fruit salad, cheese, ham and bread. Lovely coffee machine which was easy to use . I noticed 2 bedrooms directly off the breakfast room - just glad I wasn’t booked into one of these don’t know if the noise would wake you.
Would I stay again - yes definitely as Matteo was very helpful.

Dream weekend

We stayed for a weekend in Bergamo.
I can only make super positive comments about this structure.
Beautiful, elegant, attention to detail.
Convenient internal parking.
Historic building with a particular charm.
Room spacious, well-kept, spotless, warm, cozy and with everything you need to feel good.
And then really special breakfast room and related top breakfast.
Complete the whole courtesy and kindness drl Mr. Matteo

Couple travel ❤️

We returned for the second time here at the Old Mansion, this time we slept in the Sofia suite. What about all very nice and clean. Also very good breakfast. Very kind and nice even the 'landlord'. In 15 minutes you arrive in the center taking a walk.

Wow, what a place

On our "Tour de Northern Italy", we deciced to stay 2 nights in Bergamo and afterwards thinking, I was so glad we choose this place. Old beautiful palace, where really friendly Matteo greeted us. Lovely room(check my pics), which use to be King Vittorio Emanuele's bedroom over 100 years ago! Great location, if you want to go to upper city(Citta Alta), City Centre(Porta Nuova) or train/bus station

Wonderful experience

We spent three wonderful days at Antica Dimora and absolutely loved the whole experience in the historical building. The room was comfortable and had frescoes ceiling, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a real blessing in the summer heat!), and the breakfasts were fantastic — fresh fruit, berries, delicious ginseng coffee, and some of the best croissants we’ve ever had.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that great care goes into every detail.
Thank you, Matteo, for your kindness and hospitality — I’m already looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Bergamo!
