Cosy home away from home in Bergamo

Our family of four (2 adults and our “children” of 17 and 21 years old) stayed here for one week summer 2025. We became aware of the place through Italiamo's website. And got nice contact with the landlord by mail in advance. We were warmly welcomed and have greatly admired with the apartment and the surroundings. Clean and cozy apartment in quiet and quiet area, and with stunning views. We will be very happy to return!

Wonderful B & B

The Bergamo Alta is a wonderful B & B hosted by Katerina and Fredrico.
Situated within the old town, it offers a home feel second to none.
Breakfast is served in charming outdoor covered area with access to tea and coffee any time of the day.
We stayed in a private room with its own bathroom and found the room comfortable and very clean with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Bergamo.
Although there was no television, we were not in our room long enough to miss it. We were busy exploring the charming sites of Bergamo.
You will not be disappointed staying at the Bergamo Alta!

Best little place to stay

If you want s brilliant little b&b that's just slightly away from the tourist crowds, but still in the very heart of the stunning old town, this is the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and had amazing views of the mountains. Breakfast was in the European style, but the pastries were gloriously fresh and tasty and the coffee was good too. If we find ourselves in Bergamo again, this is where we are staying again.

Nice and charming under the rooftops

Small b&b conveniently located in Bergamo Alta. Near "everything" in the small town. A very nice and kind lady hosts a few rooms on the top floor.
The house is in a narrow and steep street with minimal pavement (sidewalks). Traffic is... Italian; both cars and various types of motorcycles/vespas drives fast up and down the street.
A bit tricky to stop outside the entrance and drop off your bags.
Parking is further down the street. You get a permission from your host to park in residential spaces.
Good standard in renovated and quiet rooms. Beds are on the hard side. No A/C.
You'll find a small breakfast area under a large windowed roof (can be very warm in summer), where your host serves a nice little breakfast.
All in all: recommended!

Wonderful!!!

This wonderful B&B is situated at the most beautiful part of the old town,Città Àlta,and it is very near,1-2 minutes from the very cozy main square of Citta Àlta, Piazza Vecchia.We had a very beautiful double room,made of high quality materials(full of marlbe,wood) with an amazing view to the surround area from our window,spotessly cleaned with a very good homemade breakfast and above all,this place is runned by a super friendly and nice couple,Katerina and Federico who made us have an unforgetable stay!
