Lovest hotel - a place you just don't want to go home from

Only positive things to say about this hotel. Perfect location, quiet and idyllic and close to Etna cable car on the south side (about 25 min by car). The staff was SO sweet - the food was really good and the rooms were cozy and authentic. We really felt at home and enjoy the homely atmosphere. You don't have to have just one night here! We stayed for four nights and would wish we could have stayed even longer.

Nice but with some things to review

It is a beautiful place nestled in the woods (so bring some heavier clothing even in the summer) and the guys who run it are very kind. However: the price-quality ratio did not satisfy me. The rooms are spartan: the bathroom lacked a bidet, the toilet tank had a plastic piece that often came off, and above all there were no window screens, and being an organic place, obviously no pesticides were used to keep away mosquitoes, ants, and more... all the more reason to put up some nice window screens! This created discomfort because as soon as we opened the windows, a sea of mosquitoes and other things would come in...
Another note, breakfast: I realized at a certain point that by asking they would bring food, but you had to ask for it... on vacation, the nice thing is to arrive at the breakfast room and find the table with all the good things to choose from... you shouldn't arrive and find an empty table. Not knowing what to ask for...
Another disadvantage is the pool area, which is BEAUTIFUL, but the lounge chairs are poorly maintained (some broken) and here and there even dog droppings... a different level of care is needed... or lower the price... the details should be taken care of because the farmhouse is truly wonderful, the smells of the woods create a magical atmosphere, and Mount Etna is a stone's throw away... it is beautiful, those small details that improve the price-quality ratio just need to be reviewed... I want to clarify that my trips are almost always made to farmhouses immersed in nature, where you also find animals, so if I made some clarifications, it is because generally the owners also think about these details...

We highly recommend spending a night or two here. The hotel is wonderful and the grounds are so peaceful. We also recommend getting dinner here. The food was great, some of the best we had in Sicily!

The people here are the BEST. We had the greatest meal prepared with love, local ingredients snd Nonna’s recipes. And the setting, room, location, everything was magical and lovely. Our room was so nice and comfortable, clean and beautiful.

HOSPITALITY AND GOOD FOOD IN THE ETNA PARK

We are located at 1,200 meters above sea level in an ancient stone farmhouse surrounded by the greenery of the park. The outdoor areas have a large terrace where breakfast and dinner are served (if temperatures allow) as well as a relaxing pool. The rooms are simple but nicely decorated.
The interior areas, perfectly themed with the Sicilian mountain style. Special mention for the kitchen: Alessandra the chef creates really delicious dishes, enhancing even more the quality of the raw materials of the territory. Excellent starting point to explore Etna
