Relax at the sea.

We spent a week of relaxation in Bibione, our first time in this hotel and we felt good right away, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious room facing the sea. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few meters from the beach, equipped with 2 pools and an outdoor and indoor play area for children. Superb breakfast with a buffet of fresh pastries every morning, savory items, and fresh fruit. The restaurant's cuisine for dinner is also very good, with a dessert buffet at the end of the meal. Recommended for families.

Everything just fits, a rarity, this high-quality hotel commitment.

Everything here is just right. The cuisine is of award-winning quality. The staff is excellently trained, friendly, courteous, and hospitable. The restaurant manager is a professional of the highest caliber. Rooms are very clean and everything is just right. It is rare these days that quality, price, and service fit together so perfectly. THANK YOU to the entire team for this wonderful time at this hotel!!

Horrible

This hotel aged like milk.
Today, a customer who travels in Europe regularly is used to a certain standard of 4-star hotels.
Unfortunately, this hotel, while technically compliant (maybe) with the 4-star requirements is generally dated and underwhelming for me, a person who regularly stays at European 4-star hotels.
First of all, the car park. The hotel has no underground parking, and parking around it is clearly not enough to accommodate all the needs. As a result, visitors are required to cram their cars into tight parking spaces in multiple rows and leave keys at the reception in case they block somebody else. Once you have parked, you then have to carry luggage around the building to the hotel's entrance, passing aromatic bins.
Then, after you have received your card and ran back to your car to put a ticket on your dashboard, confirming that you are the hotel's customer (yes, the hotel has no way of knowing otherwise), you cram (again) in an old, tight elevator to get you to your floor.
The corridor looks like a Soviet hospital, and you hope to escape it in your room. When you enter your room, you see old and worn furniture, a barely blowing AC, and dim lights, you smell the terrible industrial chemistry, likely used for cleaning and you think you could live with that. Until you enter the bathroom - this is when you realise you have been sentenced.
The bathroom is ridiculously small. You have no space whatsoever to manoeuver in the shower, the cold and slimy shower curtain touches your back. The shower head is leaky and was coated with salt residue. You flood the whole room when you get out of the shower and have no space to dry yourself.
Then you go to eat - horrible cold starters, microwaved "fresh" mains and desserts I wasn't brave enough to touch. And - cherry on top of the cake - if you are over 1.90, like me - you will have no way to sit at the table comfortably - your knees will not fit!
From the hideous bathroom to the dining tables, it appears like the hotel has issues with tall people.
We cut our stay short, stayed only one night and left asap to stay at a competitor's hotel which was aligned with our standards and expectations.
The hotel's management decided, even though the hotel was clearly not on par, to keep 50% of our money. I hope they make good use of that money to renovate the hotel. Until they get on par with other European hotels, do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel at all costs. I guarantee you, that the 50-100 euros saved will NOT be worth it. See the pretty pictures to back up my story.
The conditions offset any other benefits the hotel could offer, like the location or the service, thus, everything gets 1 star.
The hotel's lazy management - shame on you for offering such conditions to customers, who come to Bibione expecting to have a good time.
P.S. Receptionist Letizia was great and did everything she could to help us. However it was the higher management that showed very little respect.

Pleasant stay, but there are clearly better hotels.

Right off the bat, we encountered exclusively friendly and accommodating staff at the Hotel Palace in Bibione, with one exception at the pool bar. For that, there is a 10 out of 10. Our room was for 4 people and, unfortunately, very small for the prices that are charged for it. (For comparison, in Turkey, a room for 4 people that was three times as large, the shower as big as the entire bathroom here, for $500 less and all-inclusive).
A balcony with 2 chairs for 4 isn't that great either, although more chairs wouldn't have actually fit. Rooms are very old-fashioned and partly worn out, but at least they have a small refrigerator and are air-conditioned. If it had gotten even warmer than the 32-34 degrees, the air conditioning would have been overwhelmed, however. The approx. 4sqm bathroom is well-filled with a sink, bidet, toilet, and shower. The shower itself is clearly too small and the existing shower curtain constantly sticks to your body and does not prevent the bathroom from flooding. Luckily, there is a floor drain.
The remaining areas of the hotel are large and largely modern in design; the dining room is very spacious and air-conditioned. The cleanliness of the hotel is perfectly fine.
The outdoor and pool area is large, with a pleasant pool that is cleaned in the morning. The temperatures heated it up quite a bit; the water certainly wasn't too cold. It was noticeable and positive that there were almost no morning lounge chair reservations, but this is also explicitly prohibited there. Parking there is a disaster. Many vehicles are parked one behind the other, so a note with the room and phone number must be placed behind the windshield for maneuvering. If you leave the key at the front desk, the caretaker will move the car. Don't forget sun protection for the vehicle! We didn't really use the beach section much, but it was very large. On the only day we were at the beach, the sea was very rough and large amounts of seaweed had washed up. Probably bad weather on the previous days. However, there were a lot of swimmers in the sea every day. We don't place much importance on things like that, but there was some entertainment on only one day at the pool bar, and actually daily at the neighboring hotel right next door, so we got to enjoy that too. :-)
You have to choose dinner in the morning at breakfast; perhaps it was our fault, there are 5 "first main course" dishes and 5 "second main course" dishes, but the choice mostly fell on 1) pasta with Bolognese and 2) Wiener-style schnitzel. The portion sizes are very manageable because of the rich appetizer and dessert buffet.
Conclusion: All in all a nice stay, but for us with a low repeat factor.

Feel-good vacation

The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms were always thoroughly cleaned.
The food was also super delicious. Plenty of options at the breakfast buffet, and the salad bar was always well stocked with tasty items. There is something for everyone.
