Three days in Bologna

On May 5, 2025, my mom and I went to Bologna for surgery. We were greeted by Antonio, host of the b & b San Vitale. Antonio is a sunny, welcoming, human and extremely helpful person. He made us feel at home in his b&b, organized into three rooms each with an independent bathroom. The house is equipped with a kitchenette where you can have everything (stove, refrigerator, cookware, packaged snacks) and two comfortable and functional terraces. Antonio made our stay in Bologna really comfortable and easy and there are not enough words to thank him enough.
The b & b San Vitale is located in a convenient location to the hospital Sant'Orsola-Malpighi and the private clinic Villa Torri, as well as within easy reach of the city center.

at home away from home

super kind and friendly hosts,
comfortable room equipped with every comfort. clean and well furnished in a modern style.
very bright and silent.
it is not very far from the centre, it can be easily reached both on foot and by all means of transport and of course it is well connected to the hospitals in the city. it is well connected with many shops nearby (pharmacy, supermarket, bars and pizzerias).
excellent experience and I highly recommend it

Week for hospitalization

Very clean room with everything you need. Mrs. Maria is very helpful, polite and available. Very close to the Villa Torri clinic. Very comfortable bed. I really rabbit it a lot. Price within everyone's reach. Really valid

Good B&B

Cosy apartments to stay 3-4 days. Comfortable room and clean bathrooms. Not easy to find the enter (not from the street). All you need for self-breakfast in the small kitchen. Please note: it can be cold inside in autumn and spring. quite far from the centre - 20-30 minutes walk. The nearest bus stop is Zanolini - in front of the building (6 stops from Stanzione Centrale (Bologna Centrale))

Perfect situation with all the bits

I have stay in several bb and normally you don't expect much for them because you know what you paid for but bb San vitale has been just spot on, Antonio show us the place, everything was shine spotless, the room was a very large size with an extra bed, very large and clean toilet with 3 sets of towels and a basket of face towels. It really surprises me that they also had a laundry. Breakfast was self service and there was everything that you need from cereals to yogurts, tea coffee etc. Thank you so much to Antonio that went extra and came from his house to help to break our luggage padlock as we forgot the keys back home. I would highly recommend bb sant vitale.
