Hmmm

Great location, 5 minutes from the station, 15 from the amazing city centre.
But this hotel is a series of Hmmms.
It’s hard to find because the street entrance is just a sign on a regular street building. No lobby entrance. You have to be buzzed in through a normal apartment building door and the hotel entrance is upstairs on the first floor.
Very friendly staff and an excellent standard of English spoken.
But what’s this? Hmmm, the bedroom is tiny but the bathroom is magnificent. Honestly, they spent all the money on the bathroom which would not disgrace a 5 star hotel but the bedroom is oddly shaped and cramped. Tiny single bed…
A modern safe and a proper functioning fridge but the aircon is absolutely useless. No matter what I did with the baffling aircon controls the machine just ignored me and carried on warming up the room.
In case you think I can’t master an aircon unit’s controls let me disabuse you; I can. This machine was impossible.
I was up 3 times in the night trying to reset it as it came on and off at random and made the room into a sweat box. I opened the window but the street was very noisy and only one floor up and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it open.
If the measure of a hotel is how well you sleep then this place is thumbs down which is why I gave only 2 stars.
But there is a lot to like.

Visiting Bologna for a short break but very satisfied with the city and the hotel

Great welcome, wonderful room, comfortable bed
Professional and friendly staff, kind in giving the right information about where to eat and what to see in Bologna

Very useful

Nice spacious room, excellent cleaning, comfortable bed. If he had breakfast at the property it would have been perfect. For those who do not want to get away from Bologna Central Station highly recommended.

Great Business Hotel

Hotel in the station area in a less busy street than the one overlooking Piazza Medaglie d’Oro. New rooms with large bathrooms. Room with water and coffee machine, TV and good thermal and acoustic comfort. Fair price for Bologna and for the convenient area and close to the station but also to the center
