Very convenient hotel for visiting the center of Bologna.

I stayed two nights with my husband at the University hotel, with breakfast included. We had room 307 on the third floor: a beautiful spacious room, renovated, with a double bed and a single bed, a large TV, and a French door.
The bathroom, long and narrow, was comfortable, fully equipped, and had a window.
Quiet room. There was also a minibar with bottles of water and cans.
The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well.
The breakfast room on the -1 floor was rather small but equipped with both savory and sweet options (excellent cakes), plus juices.
The staff was courteous and kind.
Unfortunately, parking was not available on the narrow one-way street, but for €40 we were able to reserve a spot in a closed courtyard about 100 meters away.
Within a few hundred meters from the hotel, you could visit all the main attractions of beautiful Bologna, with its wonderful churches and porticos!
Highly recommended.

Something positive amidst the disastrous.

I cannot write much about the hotel because we were in Bologna for one day. On the first day, our documents and cards were stolen. We had to cancel our three-day stay. Of all the bad things, I highlight the humanity of the hotel, which in this distressing situation only charged us for the night we stayed.

20 minute walk from the railway station which is connected to the airport by the Marconi Express railway. Very convenient location for the city centre. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby but surprisingly quiet during the night so no disrupted sleep. Clean room but shower could probably do with a refurbish.
Would probably stay here again if in Bologna.

a very pleasant surprise and unexpected

Discovered by chance, but I don't let it escape anymore, immediately courtesy and professionalism at the reception with Philiph and Arturo (the next day), the room... almost open-mouthed: fridge, kettle, slippers... a four-star service (the hotel has 3)
A magnificent rest in the comfortable bed and in the morning, breakfast, croissants, cakes, salty... everything and more... what else to ask? And the price, absolutely affordable, remember that we are in the center, 10 min anyway from the station, surrounded by various restaurants and bars to spend the evening... then Bologna is full of life, many guys for the University who then animate the streets... we return in June to see a couple of exhibitions that we did not have time to see but also to take a ride again. Just behind the hotel there is the church of San Martino, don't miss it, full of works of art... and a little prayer, why not... there is. I also recommend a visit to San Luca, the patron saint of Bologna, from above then there is a breathtaking visit. I will not add more... come .. what are you waiting for?

Comfort in Bologna

This hotel really has all the comforts: in the historic center, parking facilities, spacious and elegant rooms, SKY TV and disposable bathroom kit. I highly recommend it.
