Very nice and central B&B, Patrizia an added value!

We were hosted by Mrs. Patrizia in the green room with bathroom for exclusive use.
Very nice room, absolutely central location, next to the beautiful Palazzo Hercolani.
We visited, moving on foot, the main tourist sites of the city.
Having the train in the afternoon we asked if it was possible to leave luggage in the b & b, despite having already checked out, and Patrizia welcomed the request with availability and kindness.

NOT TO BE TRUSTED! Property cancelled less than 24 hours prior to my trip!

I booked this apartment well in advance of a week-long stay in Bologna. I tried to contact the property several times to confirm the booking and the key pick-up. I only received a response from the host after I sent a message to Booking that the property host was not responding. And then I just got a message saying "Hello." At 3pm on a Friday, when I was supposed to fly to Bologna the following day at 6:30 am, I received a mesaage from the property host saying that I could not stay there. He claimed a disaster of some sort, but it was not believable at all. It was clearly an excuse. The most likely scenario is that he was able to get a higher price for the property than I had paid. What a horrible thing to do to someone! Bologna is a busy city so it is VERY difficult to find something in the city center at the last minute. I was in a panic and thought I'd have to cancel my trip altogether. Booking.com sent me a mail offering me a TERRIBLE airport hotel; that was their solution which was no solution at all because I HAD to be in the city center for work. The Hercolani apartment host offered to help me as long as Booking still paid him. What a scam. I ended up resolving the matter on my own but at considerably more expense (and a lot of stress!).

Great B&B in a great location

The hosts of the B&B were really great.
Our room was spacious and bright and spotlessly clean.
Allesandro allowed us to check in a little early and then suggested a really great Osteria to eat which could possibly be the best food we had during our 10 night stay in Italy.
We walked around exploring the city for 2 days and we really loved Bologna, the food, the bars, the architecture was all really amazing.
Sabrina on the 2nd day helped book us a table at another great Osteria were we had more great food.
The B&B is in a really handy location for just walking about exploring. No need for public transport. We walked to and fro the train station.

Ottimo!

Il B&B si trova nel cuore del centro storico di Bologna ed è facilmente raggiungibile sia a piedi sia in autobus o taxi. Il personale è cortese e disponibile. Le stanze sono dotate di tutti i classici servizi previsti da strutture del genere. Le aree comuni sono accoglienti e ben arredate. Il buffet della colazione è ben assortito. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Senz’altro consigliato!

Disgustato

Sono stato per due notti al B&b hercolani. Bhe che c'è da dire, sarò stato sfortunato io, ma la mia stanza e il mio bagno erano pieni di polvere, peli e capelli. Molto probabilmente la stanza non era stata pulita. Dal lampione cadevano pezzi di polvere, veramente allucinante, mi sembrava di stare nel set di un cinepanettone. Vergogna!
